Brunch Club

Sunday Brunch? Don't mind if I do...

Brunch Club Slogan Frill T-shirt // Pretty Little Thing (also available in black :) )
Denim Distressed Shorts // River Island

Sometimes nothing is better than a cute simple slogan tee, and this one is my new fave! Such a nice easy Sunday outfit for seeing out the last of the warm weekends before the best season arrives! :)

I actually went out for a really nice brunch yesterday. One of my fave spots in Eastbourne (aside Bills, you can't beat a good Bills brunch!) is the Beach Front Cafe on the Eastbourne seafront, no avocado toasts but its really nice to have a little Pimms, toasted sandwich and crisps down by the sea alfresco. Gotta make the most of it whilst clinging on to the last of Summer! I have yet to try the Beach Deck further down the seafront, as I've heard good things about this one also.

I was hoping to take my pics outside a cafe spot for full effect but living in a tourist town makes this almost impossible to do during peak season! That said and I like my bed too much to get up early. Managed to get in a full 12 hour sleep last night, I was shattered!

Wheres your favourite brunch spot ?

SS17 PLT Haul

Pretty Little Things has got 00's style nailed this summer! Check out my haul and see what I picked!

Red PU Bralet // Pretty Little Thing
Red Gingham Deconstructed Skirt // Asos (Now OOS) :(

Back on the blog thing! yay! Feels like a lifetime since I last posted when it was just under a month ago. Things has been really busy, my bank balance insanely low (May is everyones birthday month!) and just feelin all kinds of meh lately,

Giving me a pick up though is Pretty Little Things New in right now, my wish list is full to the max with amazing sequined, flared and magical amazin garms that PLT do fabulously at. I have made a little PLT haul video (soz, still terrible at them!)  so if you want to check out everything I got you can see there! :) All will get an outfit post in due course though.

There is so much late 1990s- early 00s things on the site right now that my inner 14 year old who used to dream of wearing  stuff like  J-lo, Britney, Gwen or  Xtina went crazy for it so I bought the lot!!

One of my favourite items of the lot is this PU red bralet. I haven't worn a bralet in what feels like an age to my expanding hips/ waistline but this long-line one is fab with styling up with high-waisted pieces and its a new colour adding to my wardrobe since the hair change and so ideal for summer date nights with jeans or leggings - hoping for more colours in this PLT - I'd grab the lot!

Lightning strikes twice

Abit of a Bowie tribute today with lots of lightning themed stuff n silver!

Lightning Slogan Plunge T-Shirt Dress // Pretty Little Thing
Lightning/Zig Zag Tights // Primark
Silver Ankle Boots // Primark

Sorry, not best pics I know,! Trying to do outfit posts in January dicing between daylight, weather and general free time is a mission so I took the only time I could grab, the morning after a party so apols for my shattered looking face!!

I've finally managed to find another low cut top sorta thing to wear with the harness bra I got back in September, these rock chic style T-shirt dresses are all over Pretty Little thing right now and they are just perfect for weekend wear. Particularly loving the spliced ones (half n half design t-shirts) though they are a little harder to find but they are really cool and interesting!.

I was thinking of teaming up with my thigh high boots but instead as I've listening to Bowie last couple of days I opted for my new fave lightning tights and silver boots as they also go with the t-shirt anyway! Haven't worn any interesting/patterned tights since I was about 18 and lived in comic strip ones so these patterned ones are a welcome update to my boring all black or nude tights my drawer has nowadays. Maybe will get the thigh highs out another time.

Black Velvet & Florals

Think floral's are for Summer? Think again! PLT have got the embroidery trend nailed with this velvet floral wonder.

Black Velvet Floral Jumpsuit // Pretty Little Thing
Black Studded Boots // Pretty Little Thing (old)
Black Floral Cross Body Bag // Primark
Black Suede Baker Boy Hat // Next (verrryyyy old!)

Firstly, Happy New Year! :)

I know it's cliche to keep going on on one about "new year, new me" stuff so I'll spare you of that! I do love a new year start feeling though as although you can obvs change and start a-fresh anytime of year it's still a great feeling to move in to a new year with a clean(ish) slate and feeling positive for new things and excitement of what this year may bring.

For me and the boy, its clear we are at a point in our lives that we are now desperate to get things moving and start a new chapter so we are hoping 2017 brings that for us and gets on on the road to owning our own home! Gotta take the rough with the smooth though which may mean a year of saving and holding back this year but it will be worth it in the long run.

One thing that has no signs of changing is the embroidery trend which I posted about way back in June last year. I have adored this trend and it looks like its not going anywhere just yet which makes it even more of a good reason to shop this one!

This jumpsuit is from my faves Pretty Little Thing. They absolutely slayed Christmas and NYE wear to the point that if I had the time of would of done a separate wishlist on their collections as they were fab!

I don't often opt for unitards or jumpsuits but couldn't resist this one due to its pretty wintery floral embroidery. Oh, did I mention its also velvet too! 😍

Here's a couple of my fave embroidery picks out there at the mo. From jackets, jumpsuits to sweaters this trend will be on everything, just shop around and check out some of the designs out there!

Personally am in love with the River Island jacket below! I'm gonna need a room just for cute jackets at the rate I'm buying them right now! Check out my pinterest to see what else I'm pinning on this trend!

Jazz up your winter wardrobe with Embroidery!

Namaste!

Pink Tie Dye Split Trousers // Pretty Little Thing
Leopard Print Sequin Gem Bralet // H&M

Ok, I admit it, I have been peeking at the new AW trends and have my Pinterest inspo board set up ready with plenty of swoonworthy garms but it does really bother me when I see shops changing their stuff over to new season in AUGUST– What is it with introducing new coats and scarfs now??

It’s just too soon for me to part with my monies to buy stuff I have to wait another 2-3 months to wear!! Does this bug anyone else or is it just me?!

I’m so not ready to pack my summer stuff away and go full pelt in to A/W, Summer isn’t over yet!

I couldn’t resist these amazing split trousers, they are so different to anything I have had before and they are tie dye (ultimate win/win!)  As always they were way too long when they arrived so I cut them down (abit haphazardly admittedly so they are alot shorter than i wanted...oops!) but still wearable! I would love to wear these to a yoga retreat or something if i could ever go toone, would love a chilled summer holiday about now!

The top is an oldie but a good un! found it in H&M a couple of years back with matching shorts though they don't fit me as well anymore! this top is one of my faves though!

Beachy Duster

This white lace duster is perfect for beach cover ups and festivals :)

White Lace Duster // Forever 21 (similar here
Snake Print Shorts // Topshop
White Boyfriend Vesty Tee // Pretty Little Thing

I ment to shoot this one agges ago but never got round to it so I took some pics whilst out yesterday eve on the beach!

I bought this lacey duster on a whim back in February whilst shopping around during LFW. I have had to cut ALOT of the bottom (short girl issues) as it was wayyy to long so its now wearable!

I didn't wear it much in the spring but have dug it out now as its actually a really nice cover up for the beach or possibly festival wearing!

The shorts are ollldd but i have noticed that snake print is making abit of a come back lately so i have also dug these out. they are just about the only shorts that I have left that fit me! *sob* as I have expanded quite alot in the butt department over the last year or so that why these now look like micro hot pants - I can assure you they weren't 4-5 years ago when I bought them! I'm kinda embracing my new curves now though. Just means I may need to go shopping for some new shorts which is never a bad thing!

Gypsy Soul

Calling all festival & boho babes! Pretty Little Thing has got you covered with their latest collection...

Vayla Green Choker Printed Playsuit // Pretty Little Thing
Fringed Brown Suede Jacket // Boohoo
Brown Suede Wicker Heels // New Look
Western Style Belt // Primark

So, it is officially festival season, one of my faves as it means fringing and boho babin galore!

This year, my fave collection is by far Pretty Little Things Gypsy Soul range - I have not been this excited about a collection drop in aaages but when I first saw it hit instagram a couple of weeks ago and then checked on the site I quite literally wanted everything!

I was a good girl though and just allowed myself to pick just one thing at the mo (will most def be going back to get more!) and I chose this beautiful green playsuit,

I don't own alot of green so it makes a nice change to my wardrobe and the fluted sleeves are soo flattering... just so in love with it! I also treated myself to an In Your Dreams face sticker set which by the looks they are also promoting with the collection as all the photos have them in - super exciting as I've also been following In Your Dreams on instagram as well and love their festival make up! Will def give them a go and let you know how they turn out!

I'm afraid I can't find a link to it or find many of the other things I added from the collection to my pintrest board..gonna hazard a guess and say pretty much everything in there is sold out! :(

Hopefully they will be restocking soon so you can see the full range and shop one of these lovely pieces too!

Check out the promo and collection here and keep your eyes on any announcements of restocks.. think there will be a stampede for the second wave if they are to restock anything!

Emerald City

Green Backless Skater Dress // Pretty Little Thing
Hair Bead Clickers // Regal Rose
Glitter 2016 Phone Case // SkinnyDip London
Choker // Freedom @ Topshop
Sandals // New Look

First of my sale picks for this year! My last year sales picks were a rainbow gold skort suit from Miss Selfridge and a paisley brocade shift dress from Topshop - this year my sales pick is from Pretty Little Thing and is a lovely party piece!

I was thrilled to find this in the sale as it was part of their Night on Disco Mountain collection with Lucy Mecklenburgh.

I'm not a fan of reality programmes like TOWIE and The Kardashians and usually steer clear of any collabs between any of them and fashion too, but couldn't resist the Night on Disco Mountain stuff. Every piece is just so nice and perfect for nights out - Its rare I come across a collection and want everything as much as I like this one!.

I was supposed to wear this on New Years but unfortunately didn't have the time to pick up the parcel so it will prob be a dress for an event later this year! :)

Have you found any amazing sales finds? Tell me about them below in the comments!

Emerald backless dress - was £28 - Now £12! :)
