SS17 PLT Haul

Pretty Little Things has got 00's style nailed this summer! Check out my haul and see what I picked!

Red PU Bralet // Pretty Little Thing
Red Gingham Deconstructed Skirt // Asos (Now OOS) :(

Back on the blog thing! yay! Feels like a lifetime since I last posted when it was just under a month ago. Things has been really busy, my bank balance insanely low (May is everyones birthday month!) and just feelin all kinds of meh lately,

Giving me a pick up though is Pretty Little Things New in right now, my wish list is full to the max with amazing sequined, flared and magical amazin garms that PLT do fabulously at. I have made a little PLT haul video (soz, still terrible at them!)  so if you want to check out everything I got you can see there! :) All will get an outfit post in due course though.

There is so much late 1990s- early 00s things on the site right now that my inner 14 year old who used to dream of wearing  stuff like  J-lo, Britney, Gwen or  Xtina went crazy for it so I bought the lot!!

One of my favourite items of the lot is this PU red bralet. I haven't worn a bralet in what feels like an age to my expanding hips/ waistline but this long-line one is fab with styling up with high-waisted pieces and its a new colour adding to my wardrobe since the hair change and so ideal for summer date nights with jeans or leggings - hoping for more colours in this PLT - I'd grab the lot!

Floral Flares

Black Lace Floral Flares // Blue Vanilla - now only £11!
Autumn Floral Print Wrap Around Bralet // New Look

Sorry I've been MIA the last week or so, been incredibly busy planning for the wedding next month! eeek! The last fortnight has been all about making decorations and buying lots and lots of flowers, candles and loads of other things! :) Have now had my first hen do which was with my family and then have another one in Brighton this Saturday with friends! Busy busy busy!

I had an hour before meeting up with my mum the other day though to head down to the seafront to snap a couple of pictures of these amazing flares that I will be taking on our honeymoon to Italy. I was gonna save them till them but then felt sad that once I get back it would be to cold to as we would be nearly in November by then so decided to wear them now!

These beauties are from Blue Vanilla, not very well known yet in the fashion online world just yet but with offerings such as these I think they soon will be! I got them for just £11 in the sale (down from £22) and then teamed up with this New Look Bralet (last years summer sale, £5) makes for an outfit for under £20 :) Bargain!

September 2014 Edit - Day 271 - Barcelona

Parc Guell: H&M Neon Leopard Print Embellished Bralet & Hotpants Co-ord , Accessorize Sunglasses
Montserrat Monastery - H&M Red Skater Dress, Primark Coin Necklace &Tribal Print Drawstring Bag

La Ramblas: Topshop Tile print Crop top, H&M Distressed Denim Hotpants & Turquoise PomPom Tassel Necklace
Montjuic: Select Floral Tapestry Print Bardot Dress
The Saturdays: Greatest Hits Tour Brighton!

Being the transeasonal month, I'm sort of in-between changing over my seasonal wardrobe and my A/W make up at the mo, throwing on layers when it gets abit chilly and instead of introducing my plum and berry coloured lipsticks and metallic pallet to my make up bag, I'm using my hot pink lippy to brighten things up whilst teaming up with my ultimate go-to eyeshadow everyday pallet- Natural Eye from Too Faced.
I have been using this set now for years and despite trying cheaper dupes or Benefits' World Famous Most Glamorous Nudes which has some similar shades but they they just don't come close to how nicely these apply and how well all the shades blend - Well worth the £22 worth - My current pallet is a year old and still going strong even after using daily!

So I'll start my A/W makeup buying next month and will have lots of new stuff to show you then :)

Its been a busy September as have been on holiday and out and about abit! Barcelona was just B-E-A-Utiful! am definitely going back there (hopefully to live!!) one day. As I managed to leave some of my holiday wardrobe behind by accident, I did have to re-buy a couple of bits whilst I was out there and H&M came to my rescue as usual as there are loads of them! I did also pop in the some of Spain's bestest clothes shops such as Bershka, Pull & Bear and Stradivarius that are popping up over here in the UK gradually also.

I managed to grab some some cool things from these three shops including a teddy coat (is that weird I went on a sunny holiday and came back with a winter coat??!)  a bomber jacket, a clutch bag and a couple of cute tee-shirts... Keep your eyes on the blog, they will be up in future posts soon! :)

Hakuna Matata!

Leopard Print Crop Top - Boohoo
Tropical Print Cigarette Trousers - Primark
Neon Blue Velvet Pointy Courts - H&M
Gold Circular Necklace - Freedom @ Topshop
Blue Hibiscus Hawaiian Style Flower Hair Clip - Beyonce (Mrs Carter) @ H&M

This post has kinda been waiting a while as you can see I still have my purple dip dye here, but better late than never!

This is what I'm planning to wear to The Lion King next week, something colourful and fun but as it will be evening and and I'll be coming home late, these tropical  print cigarette trousers will be a perfect option to keep covered up yet stylish! These beauties were from Primark, I remember picking these up on a sale rail last year down from £13 to £5..bargain!

The leopard print crop top is from Boohoo.com and will look great with anything high-waisted for the summer, maybe a retro style outfit with a pencil skirt...hmmm!

For an alternative tropical style look, I've added my neon blue shoes, rather than teaming up with usual flats or sandals, these court shoes take this outfit from chilling by the beach to summer night out in an instant. Neon accessories are a great idea if you want to add more zing to an outfit but don't feel brave enough to go for a full outfit of colour.
