Firstly, Happy New Year! :)

I know it's cliche to keep going on on one about "new year, new me" stuff so I'll spare you of that! I do love a new year start feeling though as although you can obvs change and start a-fresh anytime of year it's still a great feeling to move in to a new year with a clean(ish) slate and feeling positive for new things and excitement of what this year may bring.

For me and the boy, its clear we are at a point in our lives that we are now desperate to get things moving and start a new chapter so we are hoping 2017 brings that for us and gets on on the road to owning our own home! Gotta take the rough with the smooth though which may mean a year of saving and holding back this year but it will be worth it in the long run.

One thing that has no signs of changing is the embroidery trend which I posted about way back in June last year. I have adored this trend and it looks like its not going anywhere just yet which makes it even more of a good reason to shop this one!

This jumpsuit is from my faves Pretty Little Thing. They absolutely slayed Christmas and NYE wear to the point that if I had the time of would of done a separate wishlist on their collections as they were fab!

I don't often opt for unitards or jumpsuits but couldn't resist this one due to its pretty wintery floral embroidery. Oh, did I mention its also velvet too! 😍

Here's a couple of my fave embroidery picks out there at the mo. From jackets, jumpsuits to sweaters this trend will be on everything, just shop around and check out some of the designs out there!

Personally am in love with the River Island jacket below! I'm gonna need a room just for cute jackets at the rate I'm buying them right now! Check out my pinterest to see what else I'm pinning on this trend!

Jazz up your winter wardrobe with Embroidery!

Hola Chica!

Hola Chica Cactus Pumps // H&M
Aviator Sunglasses // Accessorize
Denim Rucksack // Primark
Furry Pompom // River Island
Henna // Pavan Henna @ Selfridges

I have to admit I actually shot this a while back when it was too hot to wear this but was a really windy day! lol! I couldnt wait much longer to show you my amazing jumpsuit solemate with this  lovely from Topshop though,

Khaki is also another trend that never goes away for A/W. This year instead of the usual khaki skinnys or shirts I've opted for this incredibly comfy jumspsuit, a cool bit of Sunday dress down for when the 70s platforms and little skirts feel abit too dressy and painful (cus lets face it, being in platforms all seasons gonna take its toll on our feet abit!)

Pockets are a great feature on this one as its got two on the top and then two slouchy ones at the waist which I loveee! That and its a really good fit on petite girls too which is a refreshing change from seeing so many gorgeous party style jumpsuits but then having to put them back cus unless you have legs like Gisele you ain't gonna be able to wear them. Not that it dosent stop me trying them on first though just to make sure!

Oh! I can't really go without mentioning the pumps, how cute are they!! Picked these fun little shoes up in H&M back in May/June and adore them and their colourful cactus chica design. I don't have many outfits that go with them as was hoping to find something to totally match them but haven't found anything just yet. They go nicely and add a pop of colour to this jumpsuit though :)

The Primark yet-could-be-TopShop Silk Jumpsuit

Silk Jumpsuit - Primark
Sandals - Primark
Bag - Almond Blossom Van Gogh print bag - Bought from The Hermitage Museum Amsterdam
Nails - Nails Inc. London Crackle Polish in King's Cross

I was wondering around town after work when I spotted this AMAZING silk jumpsuit from Primark, yes Primark! It's one of their new pieces from the A/W collection which I was going to wait until September to wear but couldn't resist waiting till then. At only £13 its a total bargain, it looks and feels more like TopShop Boutique or Ted Baker.

This one is double-y amazing as it has three quarter sleeves, a collar and huge front pockets so it kinda gives its a effortless chic yet tomboy vibe - if that makes any sense!

The only annoying part about wearing playsuits and jumpsuits is that you do have get naked everytime you need a wee but I like them way too much to let it bother me enough to not wear them. This one is definitely the most comfiest one I have ever owned, kinda like wearing bedtime silk onesie for a day out :)
