Check out the new Missguided Store!

So a few weeks ago I went down to Stratford City Shopping centre to check out the new Missguided Store.

After years of dreaming of what it could look like should MG go for its own store its definitely fair to say that MG did not disappoint in the slightest. oh no.

Check out quite possibly the coolest fashion store you will ever lay eyes on. Its so worth going along to check it out and of course, spend some dollar!

Where else can I go in to a fashion store with a bright pink Monster Truck with floating pink dollars, flamingos, unicorn mannequins and its own shoeniverse on the top floor?! nope. can't think of any.

This place is loaded with garms including the coveted Peace and Love collection, undies, your basics, as well as accessories on two floors.

Just Look! 😲

Gingham

Make Gingham the ultimate transeasonal piece, layer over sleeved tops or wear with fishnet tights for extra style points!

Gold Glitter Heart Bag // Skinny Dip London
Western Style Fedora // Asos (similar here
Pink Lace Up Choker // Primark
Western Style Backless Ankle Boots // Primark

The other week when I took these it felt positively spring like, and this Gingham dress from H&M is giving me all the spring feels! However, this week am back in black and layers. What gives weather?stop being such a tease!

Gingham always makes me feel feel county and western so I couldn't help but pop on a fedora and these cute cut-out western boots from Primark (just £12!) for a bit of Cowgirlyness too.

My hair looks mega auburn in these pics as well cus the suns on it! its gonna be a mission lightning my hair in a month or so (been advised it will take at least 2 attempts & possibly spend a month or two with ginger hair..hoping more strawberry blonde..) but we will get there! so ready for a complete hair change!

Check out these over Gingham pretties for a more spring-like look to your wardrobe, sun isn't promised but shouldn't be too much longer now. I literally cannot wait to start on Easter Eggs so I'm starting this eve with a lil Malteasers one :)

Trend: The Embroidered Biker

Happy Sunday guys!

Hope you've had a good weekend, mines been pretty busy again. This time last year I was at London Fashion Week, this time round I've been doing loads of DIY (the boring bit where you move Crap round and clear out before you refurb!) and building up our bed as we have moved everything around so we are now in the smaller bedroom.

Treated ourselves to a cinema date on Saturday for Lego Batman in-between though :) Feeling much better with so much old clutter got rid of. 2017 for us is alot about letting go of things and moving on.

This also includes a big change to my hurrrr which is happening in early April eeepp. So very overdue so am nervously excited! :) and a wardrobe update (naturally!)

I am totally obsessed with the latest trend on Biker Jackets, First seen on Gucci's catwalk for SS16, these have been huuuge news lately and the Highstreet have frantically fought with who has the best version of this coveted jacket. There are so many good lookeylikey copies around! Would love one of these for Spring but we will see how my paycheck looks like after I've been on holiday!

I love my hand painted one but would love a studded one or one of these embroidered beauties. Boohoos studded floral jacket is just outstanding!

Get channelling Gucci SS16 catwalk vibes with one of these gorgeous jackets, here's my pick of the best!

We Go Together Like Crop Tops & Leather

Have Missguided won my heart back? With amazing new season collection the answer may be yes...

Criss-Cross Burgundy Crop Top // Missguided (now  30% off!)
Leather Zip Front Trousers // H&M

Ah Missguided, I adored them when they first launched and would spend lots of time on the website drooling over the new in, it was always ahead of the fashion game and had something for everyone. I was rapidly adding to my wish list and shopping away on Pay Day on everything I loved.

Something happened though and we kinda, I dunno, grew apart? It went a little too Kardashian (ya, know, literally everything bodycon and cut out..yawn)  the last couple of years and I would go on the site disappointed with what they had and I haven't purchased anything on there for ages.

However, it feels like I may be making a U-turn back to MG, I mean, have you seen the New Season drop?! Check out my Pintrest if you want to see my fave picks from Missguided's latest drop at the moment.

I also headed to the new Missguided store in Stratford London and it is literally the coolest Fashion shop I've ever gone in! its well worth the Tube ticket and hike across Zone 2&3 on the tube to get there! I did take a ton of snaps which will be in an upcoming blog post so be sure you don't miss that!

I couldn't resist this burgundy crop top, I love the criss cross design so I do feel too exposed as well as it adds a playful edge and the frill sleeves are a huge nod to the SS17 trend of frills on sleeves.

What do you think about Missguided's latest offerings?  :)

Valentines Wishlist

With Valentines day fast approaching I've created a new themed wishlist!

Although we don't really celebrate V-day, I do LOVE all the Valentines related buys and outfits, I guess it does have something to do with that the spring gear is starting to appear in shops and its all colourful and stuff so I'm totally drawn to it after months of boring dark colours...even if its too cold to wear it yet! Had our first mini snowy day today but was more like just a few snow flakes tbh!

I also went on a date day with Rich for the first time since forever. We realised we spent most of 2016 work work working and literally only spent just under 10 days last year actually enjoying ourselfs and treating us to things so this year we are hoping to do things a little differently whilst saving for a house. Our date day today was in London grabbing a few bits for our Iceland trip and I finally got a new pair of mom jeans so I'm no longer living in leggings as that's all I've been able to fit in to lately. Will blog on those another time :)

Heres my Valentines themed wishlist though, my absolute faves being the Doc Martin Heart Boots (how amazing are they) and Reclaimed Vintage Romeo and Juliet collection Jacket & Ten Things I hate about you pin from Gypsy Warrior... such good films! Maybe will dig out some chick flicks for Valentines though my plan is actually to go and see Lego Batman.. slightly obsessed with him! Not interested in 50 Shades one bit! :)

I can also vouch for the I Love Make Up Goddess Of Love highlighter - sooo good and only a fiver! You don't need to use alot for a really nice glow! The packaging on this is soo pretty and is a good dupe of Two Faced's Polly Pocket Esk highlighters :)

Check out Gypsy Warrior and Reclaimed Vintage on Asos to see the Romeo and Juliet Valentine collection and Gypsy Warriors Ten Things collection - they are bound to sell out fast!

1) Hate Mail Dress - Lazy Oaf  | 2. Red Lover Satin Bomber - Valfre | 3. Pink Heart Wallet - Stradivarius - | 4.  Hate the Way Enamel Pin - Gypsy Warrior | 5. Bentley II Heart Boots - Dr Martens | 6.  Goddess Of Love Highlighter - I Love Make up | 7. Romeo & Juliet Back Patch Military Jacket - Reclaimed Vintage | 8. 90's Style Disney

Disney is has been taking over Primark recently with cute Mickey Mouse prints, this 90s style one has to be my fave!
Mickey Mouse Vintage Style T-shirt // Primark
Red Starry Silk Tie // Old
Red Beret with Mickey Iron On Patch // DIY
Mom Jeans // Missguided
Studded Creepers // Shoe Zone

So, not sure if you guys caught one of my instagram posts last week but it was basically a throwback pic of my lil sis many years ago  in a pretty awesome 90s Disney Mickey Mouse t-shirt.

After that I was pretty much left dreaming of all things 90s Disney style and wondered when I might get a chance to scout the charity shops or Beyond Retro to see if I might be lucky enough to find one of these 90s style Disney tees...I didn't have to go far or look even that long as only a couple of days later I stumbled across this fab little Mickey tee in Primarni! Cheers Primark! :)

Naturally, all things 90s deserve a grungey look so I've teamed this tee up with my studded creepers and mom jeans for extra vintage style points.

I'm also re-embracing hats again as my roots are now at the crappy stage and in desp need of some attention so hello beret!

They are great for adding iron on patches to as well if you are still lovin the patch trend so I popped this mickey mouse one I just found on Ebay for about £3 and it totally transforms it to be much edgier! Think I'm gonna end up buying berets in all different colours now and putting patches on them! :)
