Creepy But Cute

Lilac Backpack // River Island
Pink Fluffy Bag Thing // Molly Trubody
Studded Bleached Denim Hotpants // Primark
Pentagram Choker // Missguided
Fishnets // Topshop
Lilac Doc Martin Style Boots // ShoeZone
90's Choker // Ebay
Pink Fluffy Hairband // DIY

Ah, another blustery day of trying to take half decent picture without looking like I've been in a hurricane. and my tights crotch bit has gone for a wonder down my leg. looooool.

On the bright side, look at this amazing tee from Heba clothing!! <3 super cute. Eveything Heba makes is hand-dyed and customised so every piece is different.

I love the tie dye and the motif on the front. I actually thought when I bought it the Creepy but cute words were embroidered on but it is actually printed. Think it would add to its amazingness if it was embroidered but I supposed it would come off in the wash really easy then. I really , really need to start tie dying old stuff of mine cus I could happily have a whole wardrobe like this. have never done tie dye though!

Don't think again I've captured it that well but all the back part is all slitty and ripped and stuff which I loveee. I have a Rolling Stones top with an identical back to this as well though its years old and smells abit wardrobe musky now. :/

To put it all together I made the maribou feather hairband to make it feel more princessey :) I had actually bought the trim to DIY up some sandals but overestimated how much 2 metres was!

Eclipse

Acid Wash Denim Rucksack // Primark
Grey Fluffy Long Cardi // Primark
Bag Fluffy PomPom // River Island
Metallic Silver Sneakers // New Look
Moon Choker // Freedom @ Topshop
Capped Beanie // Reeeeeeeeeallly Old, Ebay

If you're wondering if I shot these during the eclipse earlier today sadly the answer is no. Even if I had, it would have been pretty lame anyway as where I live in the south, we ended up only getting loads of clouds which covered the whole thing. boooooo. ah well! just another 10 years or so till the next one! lol! Just thought eclipse for a name of an equinox blog post (yay spring today!) was something cool n different as have used equinox before!

This is one of my fave outfits at the mo, am having so much fun styling it up with different shoes and knee high knit socks, its easy to go from 70's style with it to this more laid back 90's look.

I was obsessing over Topshop 70's style range, literally wanting everything in it but can't afford it so I picked out this dress, knowing that pinny dresses always look effortlessly cool and are great for day wear. sometimes I'm in the mood to wear a dress but not wanting the girly vibe with it, this is perfect for those tomboy days!

The colour although describes on the site as mustard is def more of a mustard brown than a yellow even though my pics look yellow and topshop says the same thing. I actually prefer hat its more of a brown though. The zipper and cut of the dress give it a really cool 60s/70s vibe and its got cute little pockets for putting stuff in yay! so hard to find girls clothes (that aren't jeans) that have pockets in.

Lastly, I finally bought a denim rucksack! being more of a bag lady than a shoe one I have been reeeally wanting one the last couple of summers but never getting round to actually buying one then having regrets later. As soon as I saw these pop up in Primark I snapped it up (only £10!)  I should def make a bag wish list.. am always lusting over new bags!

D.I.N.O.S.A.U.R

Ripped Wet Look Leggings // Pretty Little Thing
Spiked Creepers // Shoe Zone
Rainbowey 90's Choker // University Vintage Fairs

As the weathers been a bloggers nightmare recently (rainyness = either drowned rat look or very shiney pavements which then when the sun does decide to appear it reflects everything in to the camera, boooo) I took to spending my skint Jan weekend playing on Instagram & discovering some amazing fashion & beauty Instagram accounts which I've shared links to below.

This is one of my Insta outfits I posted up a couple of weeks ago, showing off my new neon print Dinosaur sweater from Topshop. I think it is actually intended to be an indoorsey PJ set as it does come with matching bottoms but I think the sweaters waayyy to cool to wear only inside! I wore it quite alot during the Christmas holidays and to work a couple of times, I just lovvvve the cute dinosaur print!

Be My Medicine For Reality

Mustard Check Bodycon Dress // Missguided (sold out - keep checking back tho!)
Studded Boots // Pretty Little Thing
Pikachu Choker // @LittleFoxCraftz (Instragram)
90's Choker // Ebay

Am writing this post tucked up under my blanket, snuggled on the sofa feeling sorry for myself as a pesky cold has snuck up on me! I'm not usually one to whine and moan about getting coughs and colds but this ones leaving me feeling sicky as well..best get it over n done with before Christmas I spose though!

I've been itching to show off this Missguided Mustard check dress for a while, its one of my favourite things at the moment as its a fairly thick material which again is perfect for this time of year and of course, I still love all things mustard yellow! Really want a studded black bag to go with this dress though.

Lastly, the Pikachu choker - how cuute is this!! I love Pokemon and still have kept my pokeball, pokedex, posters, cards and pokemon handbook still from when I was about 11 and my sole ambition in life was to either be a Pokemon master or the next Kylie/Jennifer Lopez lol! This was a lucky n random find thru Instragram & Ebay and she sells other cute necklaces that are Disney themed too :) - take a look!

The Baby Blue Teddy Coat

Baby Blue Teddy Coat // Bershka
Voodoo Girl 666 Crop Sweater // Voodoo Girl Couture
Black PU Panel Leggings // H&M

This is the last item of my little holiday haul from Barca! Totally weird to go on a sun holiday and come back with a winter coat but hey ho!

I actually read an article the other day about a lady who also recently went to Barcelona for a winter shopping trip and bought from the biggest imported Spanish brands Mango & Bershka to see how much it would cost in the equivalent of buying in the UK, adding in the costs of the flight and accommodation and it was cheaper to fly out and get them straight from Spain rather then buy in the UK! Crazy huh? May have to organise a Euro shopping trip in the new year. It did take my baggage limit over hand luggage but it was totally worth it! :)

I've been wanting a baby blue teddy coat for aaages but just finding the ones in shops were way too long and just swamped my petite frame, as soon as I spotted this one in the Portal de l'Angel store I knew I had to get it or regret it! I'm not really a fan of buying coats as they always seem to be in boring dull colours but this pastel blue shade will keep me going though in to winter and spring :)

Not only is it super snuggly, it has a nylon hood so it its raining it dosent get all soggy and horrible, I also noticed only whilst taking these pics that the whole nylon lining inside the coat attached to the hood is removable by a zipper, so if you prefer not to have the hood and just want to have the coat on its own, you can!

These Teddy coats are now also in Bershka UK stores and online in both baby blue,  baby pink or black

Show me moonlight, on the sunrise

Long Sleeved Sun & Moon Crop - Motel
Purple Double Split Maxi Skirt - Ebay
Petrol Chelsea Boots - Ark
Lilac 90's Choker & Silver Moon Choker - Part of multipack from Freedom @ Topshop
Pearl Choker - Vivienne Westwood

Can't believe its October already! :O Autumn is without a doubt my favourite season, though my boyf strongly disagrees with me and calls it the season of death!

The things I love about Autumn are: leaves changing colour, Halloween, comfort food, pumpkins (Will add a recipe for a Pumpkin cake bar recipe I made a couple of days ago on here in abit!), scary films, incense, cosy socks, rainy duvet gaming days, conkers, being able to watch Nightmare Before Christmas, more evening baths, bonfires, fireworks....the list goes on!

I also release my inner goth at this time of year, rediscovering my love for black tops, skirts and everything.

This amazing crop top is from Motel who are renowned for there fab prints such as the Shiva dress I blogged about earlier this year. They are keeping up the ongoing 90's revival trend with the scoop neck which leaves plenty of room for necklace/choker stacking and the cropness make it extremely versatile, its super easy to partner up with either the matching bottoms, mom jeans or high waisted shorts. Today as I was feeling like going for something abit more feminine,  I've chose this cadbury purple coloured double thigh split jersey skirt.

This moon and sun print is also available in a dress, crop top, halter top, skirt, leggings, playsuit and a swimsuit! Check out the Motel website as they sell out fast!

In My Field Of Paper Flowers

Pink Sheer Maxi Skirt - Primark
Cut-Out White Top - River Island (Charity Shop)
Chunky Black Studded Cut-Out Boots - Ebay
Rose Floral Hair Band - Primark
90's Black Choker - Ebay
Lips - Topshop Lips in Beguiled
Nails - Nails Inc. London 3D Glitter in Conaught Square

Back with abit of a boho vibe, this pink sheer maxi skirt from Primark's latest drop is perfect for our current transeasonal weather.

I usually tend to match girly skirts with leather or something biker chick however I'm nowhere near ready to go delving in to my wintery wardrobe just yet opted for something more romantic boho instead. I did keep my studded boots on though to toughen up the look abit and not get my feet wet. One of my work pals did say I looked very princessesy though regardless of the chunky boots :)

The top is something I've had for years, I bought it in a charity shop for a couple of quid and since then its been a staple piece in my wardrobe. Sometimes I've safety pinned patches on it, layered it on top of longer sleeved tops in the winter ..its really versatile! Sometimes I find the stuff I've found in charity shops are the best and most long-lasting of all my clothes. I definitely want to do a charity shop haul soon to see what treasures I can find. I haven't done any charity shop hunting in ages!

Have you ever bought any clothes from a charity shop that's become favourite piece in your wardrobe?

Aphrodite Lady Seashell Bikini

Sequin Seashell Distressed Beach Jumper - Oasap http://www.oasap.com/destroyed-sequined-shell-sweater.html
Spiky Acid Wash Denim Shorts - Primark
Pearl Necklace - Vivienne Westwood
Blue 90's choker - Freedom @ Topshop

I spent lunchtime on the beach today <3 it was reaally quiet as it was the day after Airbourne and all the crowd had gone so it was pretty much deserted, so I got to sit down on the rocks n chill for abit. The tide was coming in pretty quick though so I had to work fast, my bag and tripod cover almost ended up going for a swim!

This jumper is from Oasap, an online store which I discovered recently which has some pretty cool things including this beach cover up which I'm completly in love with and havent stopped wearing since I got it in the post! It's actually a dupe of the Wildfox shell bra lost beach sweater which is £200, this Oasap one looks exactly the same but only costs £15!! Gotta love finding a good dupe.

I really like the whole distressed and lived in look, just got to be careful to make sure I don't snag this one anywhere as its pretty delicate. It has this really nice flattering 60's style bell sleeve and its so cosy and floaty!
