Floral Clash

Lilac Satchel // River Island
Pink Fluff // Molly Trubody
Pink Cleated Sandals // Ebay

Just a super quick post today as I'm soooo tired, had a crazy busy weekend with some really exciting news which I will spill on soon..got alot of things to plan! ;)

I absolutely adore print clashes, I'm not brilliant though at coming up with great ones which is why I'm thrilled Asos have done all the hard work for me and made this fab floral clash dress with a very retro bold 60s floral print on the bottom and a hawaiian pink flower on the top. Found this matchy purple flower wall on my way home the other day and had to stop to take pics with my matching bag and purpleness in my outfit!

Its a fab office workwear dress as it dosent ride up half as much as my other dresses and its such a nice bright print. Think it may also be my only A-line dress i own as as well.. all my dresses n skirts are either super short or super long!

Other cool things include the back which is strappy and crosses over (didn't remember to take a picture..doh!) and its a textured dress, i'm not sure how to describe it to you but its kinda like those quilted sweater that were everywhere a couple of months back only this ones got little bumps on it like braille, This dress is unlike anything I have in my wardrobe so def a keeper!

My River Island satchel I got for Christmas is still going strong too! These are still in RI shops in multiple colour options so would advise if you had one of these on your wishlist you snap one of these babies up before they actually do vanish!

Creepy But Cute

Lilac Backpack // River Island
Pink Fluffy Bag Thing // Molly Trubody
Studded Bleached Denim Hotpants // Primark
Pentagram Choker // Missguided
Fishnets // Topshop
Lilac Doc Martin Style Boots // ShoeZone
90's Choker // Ebay
Pink Fluffy Hairband // DIY

Ah, another blustery day of trying to take half decent picture without looking like I've been in a hurricane. and my tights crotch bit has gone for a wonder down my leg. looooool.

On the bright side, look at this amazing tee from Heba clothing!! <3 super cute. Eveything Heba makes is hand-dyed and customised so every piece is different.

I love the tie dye and the motif on the front. I actually thought when I bought it the Creepy but cute words were embroidered on but it is actually printed. Think it would add to its amazingness if it was embroidered but I supposed it would come off in the wash really easy then. I really , really need to start tie dying old stuff of mine cus I could happily have a whole wardrobe like this. have never done tie dye though!

Don't think again I've captured it that well but all the back part is all slitty and ripped and stuff which I loveee. I have a Rolling Stones top with an identical back to this as well though its years old and smells abit wardrobe musky now. :/

To put it all together I made the maribou feather hairband to make it feel more princessey :) I had actually bought the trim to DIY up some sandals but overestimated how much 2 metres was!

Sweeter than Candy

Love Hearts Print Co-ord : Polo neck crop top - Ichiban
Love Hearts Print Co-ord: Skater Skirt - Ichiban
Lilac Satchel/backpack - River Island
Pink Fluffy Keyring - Molly Trubody
Lilac Glitter Heeled Jellies - New Look
Back Marabou Feather Trim Socks - DIY

As I said earlier this week me and my boy are anti-Valentines but it doesn't stop me buy myself loads of cool n cute things - I mean, who doesn't adore Love Hearts?!

This cute polo neck crop and skater skirt is from a new brand I've discovered via Asos called Ichiban, all the stuff they make is really bright and crazy! Will be watching Ichiban alot in the future I'd imagine there summer range will be awesome if these sweet treats are anything to go by!

Another Asos-ish releated buy is my Molly Trubody Keyring which I picked up from the Asos Graduates market at the Clothes Show in December. She makes the most amazing fluffy tees, skirts and keyrings and I am so looking forward to her SS15 range too! . Sadly I broke this keyring a couple of days before I shot these pics after I really stupidly trod on it whilst lifting up my bag after a meeting last week in Brighton :(  (I was cheered up moments later cus it turned out they had an office sausage dog!!! :) :)

I found all the heart shaped beads and have fabric glued it on to a piece of pink elastic for now, thankfully its still holding! The lilac satchel/backpack itself is also a newbie from River Island which I've have been dying to use which I am now its not so chilly! absolutely love satchels now I've decided, may have to start collecting more pastel shades (hint hint River Island, please make even more of these in all the colours possible!)

Lastly, I've also gone full out pastel n lilac lovin with these cute heeled jellies from New Look which are also available in mint. My memorys of jelly shoes in the 90s were that they were uncomfortable so I have avoided this trend up till now, they are actually really comfy! They've made these with a more plasticy straps rather then the thick jelly material so they don't seem to rub, they also have glitter in the heels! <3 Def feeling alot more spring-like in this outfit

The Clothes Show 2014

If you haven't guessed already from my recent twitter feed & pics - I'm in Birmingham! yayyyy! For Christmas shoppyness and The Clothes Show :) :) I've been wanting to go to The Clothes Show for yeeeears so made sure this year I didn't miss it!

It was amazing! Def thinking of making this a yearly thing up to Brum! the fashion theatre was mind-blowing, and with 4 halls dedicated to fashion & beauty, there was something for everyone - For me I love finding new brands to worship & was urgently in need of some new brands to love & found heaps! so could of easily gone back again tomorrow!

What I wore:

Blue Velvet Mini Dress - Topshop Petite (not on website..may be an Oxford Circus exclusive!)
Floral Lace Tights - Primark

The halls were broken down in to Cheap & Chic, affordable fashion gifts and a model masterclass for those who wanted to learn how to strut their stuff down the runway with Select Model Management.
The Vintage Hall which was my fave place as it made you feel like you were in a 1960s Notting Hill Market and there was so much cool stuff to see including some of my faves from Graduate Asos Marketplace <3 and New Designers Hall was full of your many fav brands and beauty including Rimmel, Saks pamper lounge & designer outlet,

Below are some of my highlights of the day a little pic movie thing of the Fashion theatre- In the FROW! :D If you've never been to The Clothes Show before it is on until Tuesday or make sure you book tickets for next years!

Enjoy :) x
