We Go Together Like Crop Tops & Leather

Have Missguided won my heart back? With amazing new season collection the answer may be yes...

Criss-Cross Burgundy Crop Top // Missguided (now  30% off!)
Leather Zip Front Trousers // H&M

Ah Missguided, I adored them when they first launched and would spend lots of time on the website drooling over the new in, it was always ahead of the fashion game and had something for everyone. I was rapidly adding to my wish list and shopping away on Pay Day on everything I loved.

Something happened though and we kinda, I dunno, grew apart? It went a little too Kardashian (ya, know, literally everything bodycon and cut out..yawn)  the last couple of years and I would go on the site disappointed with what they had and I haven't purchased anything on there for ages.

However, it feels like I may be making a U-turn back to MG, I mean, have you seen the New Season drop?! Check out my Pintrest if you want to see my fave picks from Missguided's latest drop at the moment.

I also headed to the new Missguided store in Stratford London and it is literally the coolest Fashion shop I've ever gone in! its well worth the Tube ticket and hike across Zone 2&3 on the tube to get there! I did take a ton of snaps which will be in an upcoming blog post so be sure you don't miss that!

I couldn't resist this burgundy crop top, I love the criss cross design so I do feel too exposed as well as it adds a playful edge and the frill sleeves are a huge nod to the SS17 trend of frills on sleeves.

What do you think about Missguided's latest offerings?  :)

Yeehaa!

Buckle Up! We are takin a ride on the wild side with some serious SkinnyDip & Nasty Gal love!

Rainbow Wild West Crop Tee // WildFox
Yeehaa Heart Shaped Bag // SkinnyDip London
Kickin Up Dust Leather Bolo Waistcoat  // Nasty Gal (now 70% off!)
Spur Western Ankle Boots // Missguided (similar here)
Black Western Fedora // Asos

Sorry for the grainy-ness in these pics! (no pun intended!) it was super sunny and loads of my pics ended up being shadowy in the face so I did some photoshop magic to make sure that I was sort of visable! I'm not really a fan of over doing the old PS but in this case it was needed!

I've been waiting to shoot this one for ages! I had this penciled in for when I was off work but due to train strikes couldn't get to the location I wanted to so thought well Berwick is as county as I'm gonna get otherwise so it was the next best thing - and this outfit is deserving of a fitting location!

As you know, I am a HUGE fan of all things SkinnyDip London and have quite a collection now of bags and phone cases all from there, this bag being my latest edition. It's from their SS16 range Intergalactic Cowgirl which is right up my street! I have at least 3-4 of the bags sitting pretty on top of my wish list at the moment. Think I need to head to Pintrest to find some kind of bag display idea thing so I have somewhere to hang them that I can then admire them all as well.

I also gotta mention the waistcoat! My first purchase from super amazin Nasty Gal who are based in LA. I got this waistcoat for just £27 as its in the sale at 70% off - some seriously good stuff in the sale at the mo. I am so looking forward to styling this one up as it can literally be layered over ANYTHING. This baby is gonna last me a looonnng time. :)

Don't forget to check out the Intergalactic Cowgirl collection now by SkinnyDip, what bag is your fave? :)

Gypsy Warrior

Hendrix Crop Top // Gypsy Warrior
Paisley Flares // Rokoko
Gold Coin Necklace // Primark

Heya all!!

Hope u all had a great bank holiday weekend! , this time as for me its the month of birthdays and Rich is starting a new job next week we decided to take it easy. Lie-ins, films and Dominos Pizza for three days...heaven!

This also means as he's working nearer now it may mean I no longer have as much time to do as many blog posts as I do now and they may start to become abit sporadic.. admittedly am sad about this as this blog has really kept me going although it is exciting to start a new chapter and be on to new exciting adventures...expect there to be a few DIY posts and homewear hauls in the not too distant future between OOTD posts!

I managed to get the chance to pop my Rokoko flares on whilst it wasn't raining..yay! though it was freezing and windy as u can prob tell by my face..def didn't wear that crop top much longer...booo! This is my first and definitely not last Gypsy Warrior purchase! There's so much amazinness on that website!

I'm also going crazy for all thing Asos at the moment - there SS15 stuff is just insaaane! my pintrest full of Asos stuff right now!

I HAD to pick up this pompom bum bag having wanted one for travelling adventures for ages! so useful to have and alot nicer to carry around if its hot abroad that a large bag over you're shoulder all the time. now just to book a holiday...destination suggestions welcome! :)

Sushi

Baby Blue Teddy Coat // Bershka
Marshmallow Bracelet // Ebay (similar here)
Lilac Satchel // River Island
Pink Fluffy Bag Clip // Molly Trubody
Lilac 90's Choker, PomPom hair band & Glitter Socks // TopShop
Hair by The Braid Bar, London - Now open for two more weekends in March! :)

Feeling a little Meadham Kirchhoff like in the one..just a fluffybag would have been better though I don't actually have one. I would love to have a Meadham Kirchoff bag..bit pricey tho :( maybe one day!

I spotted this Sushi style top in H&M after I went to the Braid Bar last weekend and feel madly in love with it as Sushi is one of my fave things to eat (after chocolate n noodles!) They have an amazing range of japanesey manga stylee prints in H&M at the mo with alot of Sailor Moon tops and leggings and panda bags were looking at me but I was good and told managed to listen to my good side and reminded myself I am going away this week and need the money for then!

I bought the top and then spent aaages in Oxford Circus Topshop after discovering there is actually a lower ground floor (HOW HAVE I ONLY JUST NOTICED THIS??!) with all the brands and vintage stuff in, After having another argument with myself - I don't need those pink velvet mary janes... i don't i dont....but they are so pretty...i know but they are £40 and you can wait...! - I did a little accessories shop and picked up the pompom hairband and glitter socks.

Righty ho, Me and the boy of off up north, most northerly we've ever been, to Scotland. Staying in Edinburgh for a few days for funsies. Will post up my OOTDs and what I got up to when I get back! :)

Retrograde

Rainbow Pyrite Cord Crystal Necklace // Urban Outfitters (online exclusive)
Rainbow Crystal Cord Necklace // Urban Outfitters
Feather Temporary Tattoo // Joelles Emporium - Etsy
Brown Leather Tassel Satchel // Boohoo
Black Fedora // Asos
Lips // Topshop Beauty - Drive

Although I'm not going to LFW this week and hanging out with the fashion elite:( (boooo) I'm back with my outside yard wall and feelin like a rock star in these uhmazin Skinny Flare bell bottoms from Rokoko! There's something about weird about flares and how they make u feel like a 70's rock star - all I know is I love them and will be wearing these till they fall apart, will def be buying more!

The only downside is rain: flares + rain don't mix so will be taking care to make sure these only go out on dry weather days unless I wanna absorb all the rainwater on the pavement. Can remember my old skatery grungey jeans doing the same and they got wrecked!

I've done a fair bit of new accessory buying recently as well and looking for loads more new jewelery brands as my old necklaces are looking really tired. I popped in to Urban Outfitters a couple of weeks back and bought these two crystal necklaces which for me are really different to my usual style as I am heavily in to my chokers but thought these would be nice for layering to create more boho style looks. think I might start collecting more crystal necklaces, feel like I'm starting to dress more like my teenage self - which to me is a good thing cus I was much more creative then with layering and trying out new things - so many people get in to their 20's and then do nothing but either wear black or wear head-to-toe Superdry!! (not that I dislike Superdry, Some of their stuff is actually really nice!)

If you're looking for some cool new boho stylee things I'd def recommend checking out Rokoko & Urban Outfitters - not to mention Boohoos lastest drop is full of all things tassley and suedey too!

NYE: Iridescent

Pink Sequin Crop Top // Boohoo
Silver Metallic Sneakers // New Look
Hi all!

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas! :) :) mine was pretty quiet & a relaxy one as this months been pretty manic anyway. I'm also having a quiet New Years Eve, as I'm the worst party person ever! Would much rather stay in curled up with a book then at a party despite my partywear style outfit today, but I really wanted to get more wear out of this amazing Boohoo ensemble before the festive season well and truly ends. booo!

This outfit from Boohoo, picked out from their #boohooxmasnights collection. This skirt is such a dream, I've been looking for one like this forever & could not believe it when I saw it on a poster on the London Underground & stalked the Boohoo website until it appeared! so in love with it! Iridescent fabrics are set to be huge for 2015 & I will def be wearing this skirt alot for the spring!

The pink sequin crop top was also on the Boohoo poster, it just goes perfectly with the skirt and has a cool 90's feel to it. again its another quite versatile top that I can mix and match with alot of different things in the spring but it definitely more of a party or occasion top as it's sooo sparkely - perfect for NYE!

Are you going out for NYE? What are you planning to wear? Sequins and sparkles? a classy LBD? or staying in to watch the London fireworks on TV at home in your comfiest PJs? :)

See you in 2015!

Love, Sarah x

PS. I've also v.recently joined the worlds of Instagram & Twitter as I've now finally managed to get a smartphone, feel free to follow me on either of these or both! Links to these are on my social icons on the right sidebar :)

The Baby Blue Teddy Coat

Baby Blue Teddy Coat // Bershka
Voodoo Girl 666 Crop Sweater // Voodoo Girl Couture
Black PU Panel Leggings // H&M

This is the last item of my little holiday haul from Barca! Totally weird to go on a sun holiday and come back with a winter coat but hey ho!

I actually read an article the other day about a lady who also recently went to Barcelona for a winter shopping trip and bought from the biggest imported Spanish brands Mango & Bershka to see how much it would cost in the equivalent of buying in the UK, adding in the costs of the flight and accommodation and it was cheaper to fly out and get them straight from Spain rather then buy in the UK! Crazy huh? May have to organise a Euro shopping trip in the new year. It did take my baggage limit over hand luggage but it was totally worth it! :)

I've been wanting a baby blue teddy coat for aaages but just finding the ones in shops were way too long and just swamped my petite frame, as soon as I spotted this one in the Portal de l'Angel store I knew I had to get it or regret it! I'm not really a fan of buying coats as they always seem to be in boring dull colours but this pastel blue shade will keep me going though in to winter and spring :)

Not only is it super snuggly, it has a nylon hood so it its raining it dosent get all soggy and horrible, I also noticed only whilst taking these pics that the whole nylon lining inside the coat attached to the hood is removable by a zipper, so if you prefer not to have the hood and just want to have the coat on its own, you can!

These Teddy coats are now also in Bershka UK stores and online in both baby blue,  baby pink or black

Show me moonlight, on the sunrise

Long Sleeved Sun & Moon Crop - Motel
Purple Double Split Maxi Skirt - Ebay
Petrol Chelsea Boots - Ark
Lilac 90's Choker & Silver Moon Choker - Part of multipack from Freedom @ Topshop
Pearl Choker - Vivienne Westwood

Can't believe its October already! :O Autumn is without a doubt my favourite season, though my boyf strongly disagrees with me and calls it the season of death!

The things I love about Autumn are: leaves changing colour, Halloween, comfort food, pumpkins (Will add a recipe for a Pumpkin cake bar recipe I made a couple of days ago on here in abit!), scary films, incense, cosy socks, rainy duvet gaming days, conkers, being able to watch Nightmare Before Christmas, more evening baths, bonfires, fireworks....the list goes on!

I also release my inner goth at this time of year, rediscovering my love for black tops, skirts and everything.

This amazing crop top is from Motel who are renowned for there fab prints such as the Shiva dress I blogged about earlier this year. They are keeping up the ongoing 90's revival trend with the scoop neck which leaves plenty of room for necklace/choker stacking and the cropness make it extremely versatile, its super easy to partner up with either the matching bottoms, mom jeans or high waisted shorts. Today as I was feeling like going for something abit more feminine,  I've chose this cadbury purple coloured double thigh split jersey skirt.

This moon and sun print is also available in a dress, crop top, halter top, skirt, leggings, playsuit and a swimsuit! Check out the Motel website as they sell out fast!
