Monochrome Palazzo

Put those leggings to the back of your closet and get summer loving with Palazzo pants!

Monochrome Boho Print Palazzo Pants  // Primark
White Chiffon Off-Shoulder Top // Forever 21
Dream Catcher Choker // New Look
Sandals // Primark

A good comfy pair of summer trousers are a must have for any wardrobe. I got hot pretty easy so on days where I don't fancy being dressy palazzo pants are a godsend.

This is my first pair I've bought in a little while as my floral ones from about 2012 are still going strong though are super long and need to be worn with heels. These fab ones from Primark are actually designed for flat sandals so even more comfort - yay!

I particularly like the tie up flared side panel bits that give them a real boho edge. When I actually spotted these in the window of Primark I initially assumed it was a long skirt with a tied up waist but then on my next visit and on closer inspection realised they were actually palazzo trousers so I picked them up!

They are so good for relaxing summer days that you always think your in PJs I did have to look down this morning to make sure I definately wasn't about to go our the door in my jammies!

Not a fan of white? They also come in a reverse black with a white boho print too!

Leather Layers

Leather Croc skin dress // Pretty Little Thing
White Blouse //Missguided

Transeasonal dressing and workwear are my two worst nightmares when it comes to clothes!

Its not sure at the mo wherather it winter or spring so I've ditched my scarf n gloves and started to layer up when I'm going out so if I go indoors anywear all the layers of clothes come off till Im left in a thin long sleeved t-shirty thing!

This is an out fit I've kinda came up with when trying to make some thing that was smart for a work event I went to this week, yet still stylish and is layered so I don't freeze. Its def not time to ditch the tights just yet!

Leather is one of my fave things to wear, have sooo much leather in my wardrobe! so when i saw this Crocodile skin effect leather dress I d been watching for aggges go in to the 50% sale at Pretty Little Thing I had to have it, despite knowing I don't have any occasion to wear it coming up I could sorta justifying it by turning in to a workwear thing by layering it over my Missguided blouse. What do you think of the look I've created? :) Will def experiment abit more with layering leather and different textures for workwear to create so cool looks!.

Well, I'm off now as I've got to get things together for our mini break in Edinburgh in a couple of weeks (yay!) and baking birthday cupcakes! byeeeeee!

60's Mod

Check Grid Print Dress - Select - http://www.selectfashion.co.uk/gridprintdress
Scunci Vintage Fringe Roller - http://www.claires.co.uk/vintage-fringe-roll-by-scunci
Red Patent Heels - Marks & Spencer http://www.marksandspencer.com/

I'm lovin that monochrome has come back in with a bang for AW14, this time with a more 60's Mod vibe.

Can you believe that this quirky black & white grid print dress is only £12 from Select?! Hello bargain!

I love it because of its double layer style, which instantly makes it super flattering if your in the small boob club as as the crop top part draws all the attention to your waist :D
I bought a tropical print crop dress in the summer which remains one of my favorite purchases this year so I'm really glad that it looks like these crop dresses are here to stay!

I also spotted a fringe roller in Claire's a couple of weekends ago which is made by Scunci, who make loads of other DIY hair kits for those of us who are crap at putting hair up without getting hair loops whilst trying to pull hair in a bun or unable to plait your hair because you somehow end up with your own fingers caught in to your braids - shamelessly guilty of both of these!

I've been itching to figure out how to get more vintagey hairstyles without forking out for a hairdresser everytime so I picked one up and gave it a try. I found it a little bit fiddly at first but managed to get it working in about 15 mins yay! :) It actually worked better if you rolled it up the opposite way the instructions said! typo maybe???

Definitely check these out and persist with them, there pretty cool. Now theirs a whole vintage range of these, I think I'll pop back and get the victory roll kit next and start collecting them all.
