Neck Ties & Boho Layering

Trying out the new season trends - The neck tie is fast becoming my new favourite accessory..

Grey Ribbed Midi Dress // Ebay (coming to a Depop near you!)
Nightfall Dress // Gypsy Warrior
Grey Bandana, Pink Mongolian Furry bag & Silver Hair clickers // New Look
(now buy one get one free in New Look!)

The infamous Gypsy Warrior dress is back - though to be honest it wasn't intended! I had actually planned to wear the grey ribbed dress I'm wearing underneath but when it arrived the other day I realised it was actually a midi dress, rather than a maxi dress which the eBay seller had described...boo!!

Its only one of a few my eBay faux pas though I've had over the years but this one was pretty annoying as I have been wanting a long sleeved maxi in grey for ages and was chuffed when I came across this Asos one on eBay..ah well - will prob end up adding this to Depop soon or just saving for workwear as its far to clingy and Kardashian like for me to want to wear at the weekend!

So I threw my trusty mesh dress over the top, its one of very few items in my wardrobe that gets worn regularly and I could never be without it. I prob should of done a how to wear this dress at least 10 different ways posts instead of the last two posts but oh well! Guess its a good thing to start wearing my wardrobe more often instead of new outfits all the time.

My fave thing though is the newest trend for this season - the neck tie. I used to wear alot of neck ties when I was a teen but am pleased these are making a comeback but as bandana neck ties! I have been stocking up on all different colours lately and love how they make make any outfit look chic in a few seconds! expect to see these making an appearance in alot of upcoming posts (which hopefully won't include my gypsy warrior dress!!)

Mongolian Fluffies & Camo layering..

I give camouflage a girly/grunge twist with a pink mesh dress and fluffy bag...

Nightfall Sheer Maxi Dress // Gypsy Warrior
Mongolian Pink Faux Fur Bag // New Look
Purple Floral Spiked Headband & Lion Finger Tattoo // Topshop
Boots // Boohoo

Sorry for my very tired face! has been a crazy week! You may also note in these as well as my dark circles I have what looks like cling film wrapped around my right index finger..that's because I randomly managed to cut myself - not quite sure on what!! - and all I had whilst shooting was some left over cling film in my pocket so that had to do the job for a while! luckily noticed before getting blood all over my fluffy bag and pale pink dress, that would of been a nightmare! The not so glamorous life of a fashion blogger! I should do a post with  my blooper photos in it one day so you can see all the crap I go through to take photos lol! :)

Anyway! on to the outfit, I finally managed to get my hands on a camo shirt. A pretty well known staple piece, camo is great for layering over so many things and it just goes with nearly everything! I don't know why I have waited so long before finally getting one. I know I'll be getting plenty of wear out of it.

Here I've teamed it up with my fave Gypsy Warrior pink maxi I posted about not so long ago with the pentagram harness. it kind of gives it a cool grungy edge to the pink and gives it a more casual look.

I couldn't resist throwing in a couple of sales buys - my mongolian furry bag which I found one in London in the sales a few weeks back and these very Cara D style lion finger tattoos - she's always been a huge style crush of mine! :)

ooohh, speaking of fashion queens, I managed to get tickets for London Fashion Weekend in a couple of weeks! yay! :) It will be my first one, let me know if you're going and what you plan on wearing (unless its top secret of course!) Can't wait to see fellow fashion lovers there!

Back to Black

A couple of my fave H&M buys, both old and new and of the black and tassely variety!

Black Leggings // H&M (old)
Black & Green Dip Dye Tassel Necklace // H&M (old)
Black Fedora// TK Maxx
Biker Boots // Boohoo (old)

Working in the city or industrial areas its pretty simple but to work in the countryside means wearing pretty shoes or pencil skirts is a no no - especially at this time of year, I have done a couple of other previous posts on my country themed workwear before (again with abit of a 70s vibe) :) However you cannot wear platforms to complete the look, you have to come prepared for working in the county as it means muddy boots become pretty much a regular thing

I tend to stick to comfy basics at work, my comfiest stretchy leggings (these are going on a couple of years old now and are holey!!) are a staple of mine and then I jazz it up with an interesting top.

As you know I'm not really a fan of all black erraythang and love my colours, however saw this fringed black knit in H&M last weekend in Brighton and thought it would make a good addition to my could-get-away-with-wearing-at-work attire - That and look at that fringe detail! - Can you believe this was only £6!

You can't really see in the photos but the fringe goes all up the sleeves and across the back to. The front bit with the green tassels is actually a necklace I also picked up n H&M again a good couple of years ago, but didn't find anything to wear with it all this time until now  - was worth the wait though!
