I'm back from Birmingham after a super busy long weekend! I went to the Clothes Show on the Saturday as you saw in my last post and the day before I went Christmas shopping around the Bull Ring and the Christmas Markets and had a lovely Bratwurst for Brekkie (yeh i took a bite out of the end before takin the pic- not good at the takin pics of food malarky!!) lol

Capes seem to be everywhere this A/W and I really wanted to give them a go after seeing them on the Burberry Catwalk on Cara D and love how many different ways you can wear them. I found this lookey likey Burberry colour block one on SheLikes.com.. Its super snuggley and can be worn just draped over shoulders or belted as I have done here. Think I will also add my initials on there if I can find some iron on patches or something just to give it even more of a Cara D Burberry feel :)

The Clothes Show 2014

If you haven't guessed already from my recent twitter feed & pics - I'm in Birmingham! yayyyy! For Christmas shoppyness and The Clothes Show :) :) I've been wanting to go to The Clothes Show for yeeeears so made sure this year I didn't miss it!

It was amazing! Def thinking of making this a yearly thing up to Brum! the fashion theatre was mind-blowing, and with 4 halls dedicated to fashion & beauty, there was something for everyone - For me I love finding new brands to worship & was urgently in need of some new brands to love & found heaps! so could of easily gone back again tomorrow!

What I wore:

Blue Velvet Mini Dress - Topshop Petite (not on website..may be an Oxford Circus exclusive!)
Floral Lace Tights - Primark

The halls were broken down in to Cheap & Chic, affordable fashion gifts and a model masterclass for those who wanted to learn how to strut their stuff down the runway with Select Model Management.
The Vintage Hall which was my fave place as it made you feel like you were in a 1960s Notting Hill Market and there was so much cool stuff to see including some of my faves from Graduate Asos Marketplace <3 and New Designers Hall was full of your many fav brands and beauty including Rimmel, Saks pamper lounge & designer outlet,

Below are some of my highlights of the day a little pic movie thing of the Fashion theatre- In the FROW! :D If you've never been to The Clothes Show before it is on until Tuesday or make sure you book tickets for next years!

Enjoy :) x

OOTD: Rainbow Scarf & Cropped Knit Jumper

Cropped Knit "Love" Jumper // Forever 21
Green Plaid Leggings // Ebay
Rainbow Chunky Knit Scarf // Primark
Metallic Sneakers // New Look

A super super quick post today! Have a really busy couple of weeks coming up involving Christmas parties, shopping and The Clothes Show in Birmingham which I'm really excited about as it will be my first time going!

This is one of my current fave casual outfits, I haven't stopped wearing these plaid green leggings since i got them from Ebay. They are the perfect dupe of the Topshop & River Island ones that were really popular earlier this year but I couldn't afford them at the time. These are only 9.99 on Ebay at the mo!

The rainbow pom pom scarf is new from Primark, and is the matching set to my rainbow fingerless gloves I featured last month. I know I raved on then about how much I loved them and I still do! there is a matching hat to this set as well that I also may be tempted to pick up to keep my rainbowometer high! :)

The cropped knit is from Forever 21, having been in the Oxford Street one a few times I've found that they are the sort of shop that sometime I find loooads of things I want and can spend a good hour in there trying armfuls of clothes on yet other times I walk in there and see nothing of interest!

Do you have a clothes shop that you have a on/off relationship with? :)

Love, Sarah x
