Fresh

New Season, New hair! January isn't the only time you can make a big change and freshen up your look! :)

Red Check Deconstructed Skirt // Asos
Sandals // Topshop
Hair by Beehive Hair & Beauty Salon, Eastbourne

At long freekin last I got my hair did. See ya later brunetteness, never liked you much anyway.

And hello strawberry blonde! It was a hugely lengthy process to get you but so worth it as we can now experiment with colours and things. That said I'm liking the strawb blonde already, it makes such a difference to my outfits and really helps to bring out the colour in them as I like to wear alot of colour. I am soo looking forward to experimenting with it as well as trying out new outfits and ideas that simply wouldn't of worked before :)

Remember what I always say about denim too? I still am a firm believer that denim looks a million miles better on blondes so naturally I treated myself to my first denim jacket. My favourite denim is always fairly vintage looking, worn in and distressed so my criteria was met when I scouted this Forever 21 jacket online.

Its a tiny bit too big but guess this will work better for layering when it gets later in the season or now even on chillier days.

I've matched it up here to another gingham style pretty from Asos. Although it very much resembles a tea towel it does still make me feel super springy and was a fab choice for the first day of the year to get the legs out (with nude tights of course) I love the deconstructed hem and the frill top part of this skirt! deffo a new skirt fave for me!  :)

Best Bitches

Managed to get my paws on THAT Zara dress at last! Here's how I style it up for A/W

Tiered Raw Edged Denim Dress // Zara
Rainbow Tassel Knit // The Ragged Priest
Best Bitches Patch // Skinny Dip London
White Flatforms // Primark

It's been pretty chilly this week so it seems abit crazy to still be wearing summer dresses ... or is it?
My latest obsession lately is layering dresses over sleeved jumpers to get as much wear out of my summery gear as possible and get endless 90s vibes - always a good thing!

This bloggers fave dress from Zara sold out after it first hit the shelf's so unfortunately I missed it the first time round. Thankfully Ebay is a lifesaver in these situations and I managed to find one on there with its tags (and abit crumpled, soz i was too keen to wear it so will iron it later haha!) although I've had a little wait for it and summers passed its now mine! yay!

Its actually off shoulder but due to how I've styled this I've tucked the cute little off shoulder arm bits inside this dress for now so it can just be sleeveless for layering. I just love the raw hem on this. Denim in my opinion just always looks 100 times better when its been ripped or is frayed.

Also, I have done a small bit of customisation on it and added a patch at the top! I bought it from the Skinny Dip store in Carnaby Street earlier this year and have been waiting to add it on to something all this time and felt this dress was perfect for this patch. :)

Britney Denim

Feelin abit Britney-esk in this strapless Boohoo denim number..

Western Spur Ankle Boots // Missguided
Black Western Fedora // Asos
Velvet Choker // DIY

Feel like this is almost abit of a throwback post - could this dress be more 00's if it tried?!

It reminds me of the famous Britney & Justin denim look only I've played it down and matched it up with some cowgirly accessories. Am loving this double buckle belt! I've seen a few around but this one comes in cheapest at £12 :) such a good statement accessory!

Think I may have to come back to Boohoo, I can't seem to stay away from their New In section at the moment yet a couple of years ago it was a place I'd never find anything I liked. My usual love for things Missguided has kinda dulled down this year to the point I actually received an email to say they miss me shopping and to come back! - something I never thought would happen to me as a Missguided fan from day one!

Anyone else finding their 2016 stuff has been pretty lacklustre? I feel its gone abit too Kardashian like! :(

Boohoo for me right now is where its at - so much festival goodness as well!

Check out their new in here

Frayed Denim

The new denim for this season.. think frayed, patch work print and cowgirl vibes..

Frayed Denim Lace Up Side Dress // Primark
Red Necktie/Neckerchief // Primark
Fringed Brown Boots // Missguided
Rose Gold Pony Tail Cuff // Boots

Found this little denim wonder in my local Primark the other day! :) Denim dresses to me are as much of a wardrobe staple as jeans, they are so easy to style and just perfect for easy going day time wear. The frayed edging just gives it an even more relaxed look and to me makes me think of sunny days. Please hurry up spring!

I'm really liking frayed denim at the moment, almost as much as neckerchiefs! - that are having a huge style moment right now! - these again were from Primark (hunted down in the menswear section hehe) and are from what I've seen the cheapest out there if you are thinking of giving this trend a go but don't want to spend alot. These were just £2 for a pack of two, this bright red one which is perfect to match with your denim days and a more subtle navy blue one. :)

Autumn River

Halter Crop Top - Autumn River http://autumnriverclothing.bigcartel.com/croptop
Petrol Chelsea Boots - Ark http://www.ark.co.uk
Navy Tartan Shirt - Topshop
Acid Wash Dungarees - Ebay
Blue 90's Choker - Freedom @ TopShop

Happy Friday peeps!

Its Jeans for Genes day in the office today so I thought I'd take the liberty of not only wearing denims for the day at work but by wearing these dungarees!  I've actually had them in my wardrobe for a few months trying desperately to find tops to go with them, they look better with tight fitting stuff so I was thinking of starting to look for a colourful bodysuit or something to wear underneath for something different.

The crop top is from a little known online shop called Autumn River  - They make loads of quirky hairbands, t-shirts, crop tops and pretty things, check them out! :)
