Return of the Bomber Jacket

One of my favourite pieces and no.1 wardrobe essentials is my Pull & Bear bomber jacket.

Vintage Style Satin Baseball Jacket // Pull & Bear
White Crochet Panel High Neck Dress // Topshop (similar here)
Biker Boots // Ebay

Back in warms after what started to be a really sunny start to the Easter weekend! Thankfully, bomber jackets are just perfect for indecisive weather as we have here, lightweight to carry, warm and gives any outfit an instant update.

This one I have had since my trip to Barcelona a couple of years ago and has been one of my go-to items for transitional weather. I just love how it adds to a look, even throwing on over the most girlie of dresses they make everything look cool!

The dress was a sales buy I featured in this blog post back at the end of autumn last year. Determined to get more wear out of it as it is sleeved and looks incredible with cute jackets such as this one! I am at least getting better at recycling and re-wearing my clothes. I will still be doing a spring clean and going thru my wardrobe for some serious clothes culling to make more space!

Rest assured, these two pieces won't be going anywhere near the charity bag!

Looking for a cute bomber jacket for layering? Here's some other similar ones I've found!

Varsity

Vintage Style Satin Baseball Jacket - Pull & Bear (Barcelona)
Runaway Grey T-Shirt - Bershka (Barcelona)
Metallic Silver Sneakers - New Look (now only £4!)
White Star Waist Belt - Primark

I really, really love the whole american baseball varsity trend, the more vintage it looks, the better! So I was thrilled to come across this retro satin jacket in Pull & Bear in Barca, its just the comfiest thing ever :) perfect for layering over the top of t-shirts.

I wanted to go totally 80s/90s and opted for mom jeans as well, they are tricky to pull off though and I wsn't sure about them at first. I think they are def suited to taller peoples as they are ment to be ankle grazing and not rolled up 100000 times at the bottoms but I have decided to keep them as they fit nicely at the waist and have abit of a 80's tomboy relaxed look about them which for me is what denim is all about.

My other new loves are these metallic sneakers from New Look, I have kept missing out on these the last couple of years and then regretting not getting them when they sell out and waiting another year, but finally managed to snap these up in the New Look sale for an amazing £4! they are so shineyyyy :) I've posted a few links below to some really cool alternative ones to the New Look pair - Superdry ones are really nice!

Being the transeasonal month, I'm sort of in-between changing over my seasonal wardrobe and my A/W make up at the mo, throwing on layers when it gets abit chilly and instead of introducing my plum and berry coloured lipsticks and metallic pallet to my make up bag, I'm using my hot pink lippy to brighten things up whilst teaming up with my ultimate go-to eyeshadow everyday pallet- Natural Eye from Too Faced.
I have been using this set now for years and despite trying cheaper dupes or Benefits' World Famous Most Glamorous Nudes which has some similar shades but they they just don't come close to how nicely these apply and how well all the shades blend - Well worth the £22 worth - My current pallet is a year old and still going strong even after using daily!

So I'll start my A/W makeup buying next month and will have lots of new stuff to show you then :)

Its been a busy September as have been on holiday and out and about abit! Barcelona was just B-E-A-Utiful! am definitely going back there (hopefully to live!!) one day. As I managed to leave some of my holiday wardrobe behind by accident, I did have to re-buy a couple of bits whilst I was out there and H&M came to my rescue as usual as there are loads of them! I did also pop in the some of Spain's bestest clothes shops such as Bershka, Pull & Bear and Stradivarius that are popping up over here in the UK gradually also.

I managed to grab some some cool things from these three shops including a teddy coat (is that weird I went on a sunny holiday and came back with a winter coat??!)  a bomber jacket, a clutch bag and a couple of cute tee-shirts... Keep your eyes on the blog, they will be up in future posts soon! :)
