NYE: Iridescent

Pink Sequin Crop Top // Boohoo
Silver Metallic Sneakers // New Look
Hi all!

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas! :) :) mine was pretty quiet & a relaxy one as this months been pretty manic anyway. I'm also having a quiet New Years Eve, as I'm the worst party person ever! Would much rather stay in curled up with a book then at a party despite my partywear style outfit today, but I really wanted to get more wear out of this amazing Boohoo ensemble before the festive season well and truly ends. booo!

This outfit from Boohoo, picked out from their #boohooxmasnights collection. This skirt is such a dream, I've been looking for one like this forever & could not believe it when I saw it on a poster on the London Underground & stalked the Boohoo website until it appeared! so in love with it! Iridescent fabrics are set to be huge for 2015 & I will def be wearing this skirt alot for the spring!

The pink sequin crop top was also on the Boohoo poster, it just goes perfectly with the skirt and has a cool 90's feel to it. again its another quite versatile top that I can mix and match with alot of different things in the spring but it definitely more of a party or occasion top as it's sooo sparkely - perfect for NYE!

Are you going out for NYE? What are you planning to wear? Sequins and sparkles? a classy LBD? or staying in to watch the London fireworks on TV at home in your comfiest PJs? :)

See you in 2015!

Love, Sarah x

Russian Doll

Dress // Primark
Fur Headband (though looks more like a hat!) // Primark
Russian Doll Necklace // Funky Mamma's Boutique

Can't believe its almost Christmas! This month has just flown by! So looking forward to the Christmas holiday, eating way too much, seeing the fam & not having to wake up to an alarm for a week <3 Bliss.

This gorgeous dress from Primark was at the top of my wish list when I saw it previewed in Look Magazine a month or two ago and kept a daily watch on my local Primark for when it came in..only it never did or has still yet too!

I ended up finding it whilst on my travels in the London Oxford Street store whilst up there for a work meeting last month. I absolutely love the pattern though I'm not quite sure what its called, it reminds me the red floral/paisley pattern that I have on a few of my Russian Dolls in my little collection.

It's a really nice length and flare and as with lot of my bestest things it has studs on it <3 Def will be a dress I wear alot this season.

Merry Christmas!

Scholl Velvet Smooth Luxury Pedicure Gift Set

After torturing my feet all summer in sandals and flip flops, my feet were in in abit of need for some TLC! My heels were really dry and urgently needed some love so when I saw the Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi I was desperate to get it and try it out!

I had seen load of ads on TV and really good reviews for it saying it was as good as a salon pedicure so had pretty high expectation of it too.

I bought the Luxury Pedicure Collection which is a box set containing the electric footfile (battery operated), toe separators, cuticle sticks, glass nail file, foot serum, microfibre towel in a cute beauty bag for only £39.99! (usual RRP £79.99) from Boots

I have used it regularly for the last couple of weeks in preparation for a couple of my Christmas parties and already am seeing a notable difference. My feet are much smoother and feel like they did before I started abusing them in my summer sandals and flip flops!

It's really easy to use and requires no scrubbing or rubbing, it is taking some getting used to though as its quite tickly but it does buff your feet perfectly.  I do have a tube of Soap & Glorys Heel Genius and really like it minus the length of time it takes to dry, it's definitely for stay-in pamper sessions whereas the Scholl serum is also very effective and makes your feet lovely and soft but dries alot quicker, making it easier to use if you are in a hurry.

It also contains Hyaluronic acid which is known for its ability to hold and retain water & ketatin to keep the skins moisture balance..which all equals nice, moisturised smooth feet which are not cracky and dry :)

Check out the video below for how to use it, they are still in Boots at the moment for the offer price so get down there and grab one whether its a gift for someone or treat yourself to one!

Black Suede Fringed Shorts // Primark
Studded Boots // Pretty Little Thing
Thigh High Socks // Forever 21
     Wide Brim Fedora // Asos

Hotel - Hampton Hilton Birmingham North

I'm back from Birmingham after a super busy long weekend! I went to the Clothes Show on the Saturday as you saw in my last post and the day before I went Christmas shopping around the Bull Ring and the Christmas Markets and had a lovely Bratwurst for Brekkie (yeh i took a bite out of the end before takin the pic- not good at the takin pics of food malarky!!) lol

Capes seem to be everywhere this A/W and I really wanted to give them a go after seeing them on the Burberry Catwalk on Cara D and love how many different ways you can wear them. I found this lookey likey Burberry colour block one on SheLikes.com.. Its super snuggley and can be worn just draped over shoulders or belted as I have done here. Think I will also add my initials on there if I can find some iron on patches or something just to give it even more of a Cara D Burberry feel :)

The Clothes Show 2014

If you haven't guessed already from my recent twitter feed & pics - I'm in Birmingham! yayyyy! For Christmas shoppyness and The Clothes Show :) :) I've been wanting to go to The Clothes Show for yeeeears so made sure this year I didn't miss it!

It was amazing! Def thinking of making this a yearly thing up to Brum! the fashion theatre was mind-blowing, and with 4 halls dedicated to fashion & beauty, there was something for everyone - For me I love finding new brands to worship & was urgently in need of some new brands to love & found heaps! so could of easily gone back again tomorrow!

What I wore:

Blue Velvet Mini Dress - Topshop Petite (not on website..may be an Oxford Circus exclusive!)
Floral Lace Tights - Primark

The halls were broken down in to Cheap & Chic, affordable fashion gifts and a model masterclass for those who wanted to learn how to strut their stuff down the runway with Select Model Management.
The Vintage Hall which was my fave place as it made you feel like you were in a 1960s Notting Hill Market and there was so much cool stuff to see including some of my faves from Graduate Asos Marketplace <3 and New Designers Hall was full of your many fav brands and beauty including Rimmel, Saks pamper lounge & designer outlet,

Below are some of my highlights of the day a little pic movie thing of the Fashion theatre- In the FROW! :D If you've never been to The Clothes Show before it is on until Tuesday or make sure you book tickets for next years!

Enjoy :) x

OOTD: Rainbow Scarf & Cropped Knit Jumper

Cropped Knit "Love" Jumper // Forever 21
Green Plaid Leggings // Ebay
Rainbow Chunky Knit Scarf // Primark
Metallic Sneakers // New Look

A super super quick post today! Have a really busy couple of weeks coming up involving Christmas parties, shopping and The Clothes Show in Birmingham which I'm really excited about as it will be my first time going!

This is one of my current fave casual outfits, I haven't stopped wearing these plaid green leggings since i got them from Ebay. They are the perfect dupe of the Topshop & River Island ones that were really popular earlier this year but I couldn't afford them at the time. These are only 9.99 on Ebay at the mo!

The rainbow pom pom scarf is new from Primark, and is the matching set to my rainbow fingerless gloves I featured last month. I know I raved on then about how much I loved them and I still do! there is a matching hat to this set as well that I also may be tempted to pick up to keep my rainbowometer high! :)

The cropped knit is from Forever 21, having been in the Oxford Street one a few times I've found that they are the sort of shop that sometime I find loooads of things I want and can spend a good hour in there trying armfuls of clothes on yet other times I walk in there and see nothing of interest!

Do you have a clothes shop that you have a on/off relationship with? :)

Love, Sarah x
