Marie

Its officially sweater weather! And Primark have got just what you need to get the cutest AW look around!

Space Bun Extensions // Lullabellz
Mom Jeans // Stradivarius

If you haven't been in to Primark and checked out all the Disney goodies in there this year, then where on earth have you been!

Spring saw Primark's Beauty and the Beast range (still going verrrryyy strong!) with everyone going completely crazy over the adorable Mrs Potts and Chip tea sets. For A/W there is so much more Disney delights on store including these sweaters of various Disney characters. I picked sassy lil Marie from Aristocats and made these cute hairbands to match!

As promised, I will let you on the secret of my space buns. As you know my hair is pretty fine so getting space buns to look cute n messy is tricky. The fab people at Lullabellz have made these fab extension scrunchies which are a huge help for this as they make your messy buns look much more fuller. Better still, they come in so many different shades to match your hair colour and come in at just £15 a pair!

They are really easy to use, even for total hair numptys like me!

Check them out, they are also really good at giving advice on which colour you may need. I asked for mine as was unsure and they got it totally irght after I emailed a pic of my hair colour to them!

Spell Books & Floral Boots...

Potter fans get yourselfs to Primark! This A/W17 sees Disney delights, Harry Potter goodies and Botanical gorgeousness picked out by Glamour Magazine!

Black Floral Mesh Dress // Coco's Fortune
Harry Potter Hogwarts Book Bag // Primark
Botanical Pearl Boots // Primark (As seen in Glamour collection)

As always I can never keep away from Primark when new season stuff hits. My new loves are these Botanical pearl boots which haven't left my feet since I got them a couple of weeks ago. A total impulse buy, but now very glad I did as have not seen them since in my local store. Glamour Magazine featured these as well as a selection of their picks from Primark for Autumn.

Needless to say, I think most of the range has been snapped up! But you can check out the feature here and see if you can spot these in your local Primarni store.

Also, unless you have been living under a rock, you would have noticed on your Primark visits that they have a pretty cool Harry Potter range - this has now just got a whole lot bigger!

They have bought out loads of things with back to school themes including cute satchels and bags for school/ college (If I was a student I'd def buy just to pretend I'm going to Hogwarts!) This Hogwarts book style bag totally caught my eye though and I had to have it, perfect addition to my novelty bag collection.

Will definitely be taking this to Universal Studios with me if I get to visit!

Have you got any good recent Primark finds? Let me know below in the comments :)

Cry Baby

Sporting a new raglan baseball style sleeved tee today, (can never have enough of these!)

Cry Babies Cropped Raglan Top // P&Co
Meow Choker // Forever 21
Mom Jeans // Stradivarius
Fishnets // Primark
Silver Conversey Plimsoles // Primark

Sorry for the random break! I sorta disappeared off all social things over Easter and in to the following week too. Oops.

That said, it was nice to take the time away and think about new posts without stressing. I've just chilled out and allowed myself the break. which is totally cool especially if you also work at the same time as finding time to blog is a bitch as it is, spesh when April for the last two weeks has been abit on the cold side, even snowy.. pretty uninspiring for doing spring fashion shoots!

To get my blogging mojo back, I decided to try and stop trawling through all the new in summery stuff thats been to cold to wear lately and looked up a cool new brand to obsess over instead - that being P&Co who make awesome tops such as the baseball style one I'm wearing here.

You can never go wrong with a raglan tee, spesh one with cool backprints such as these, I may be tempted to wear back-to-front as well as I love the back print on this Cry Babies One! They have recently restocked these so head up to their website to get your raglan tee fix,

90's Style Disney

Disney is has been taking over Primark recently with cute Mickey Mouse prints, this 90s style one has to be my fave!
Mickey Mouse Vintage Style T-shirt // Primark
Red Starry Silk Tie // Old
Red Beret with Mickey Iron On Patch // DIY
Mom Jeans // Missguided
Studded Creepers // Shoe Zone

So, not sure if you guys caught one of my instagram posts last week but it was basically a throwback pic of my lil sis many years ago  in a pretty awesome 90s Disney Mickey Mouse t-shirt.

After that I was pretty much left dreaming of all things 90s Disney style and wondered when I might get a chance to scout the charity shops or Beyond Retro to see if I might be lucky enough to find one of these 90s style Disney tees...I didn't have to go far or look even that long as only a couple of days later I stumbled across this fab little Mickey tee in Primarni! Cheers Primark! :)

Naturally, all things 90s deserve a grungey look so I've teamed this tee up with my studded creepers and mom jeans for extra vintage style points.

I'm also re-embracing hats again as my roots are now at the crappy stage and in desp need of some attention so hello beret!

They are great for adding iron on patches to as well if you are still lovin the patch trend so I popped this mickey mouse one I just found on Ebay for about £3 and it totally transforms it to be much edgier! Think I'm gonna end up buying berets in all different colours now and putting patches on them! :)

Pretty Bows

Nail date night outfits with a simple bodysuit. This cute bow back one from Topshop is a new winter date night fave!
Pink Pleat Midi Skirt // Primark
Silver Metallic Boots // Primark
Floral Belt // Primark (Oxford Street exclusive!)

Feels like an age since I last did a proper outfit post since January went pretty much as pear shaped as possible, Donald Trump being a turd, ills, every weekend plan going wrong, grim weather, and to top it all of the arrival of some new horrendous neighbours next door who party daily till 7am...joy. Has been 2 weeks of 3 hour sleeps. Will be getting on to our landlord about that shortly after my intervention earlier didn't go to well. 😔

Keeping my sanity though my new camera has arrived eeeeppp!! I now am the proud owner of a cute little  Canon Powershot SX720. Despite not having cool lenses and stuff like my old Sony, the spec on this one is much higher and I managed to get £80 off the price after abit of eyelash fluttering in Jessops 😏 I wanted to get a more compact camera anyway as well as so this is perfect for now then perhaps in another year or so embarking back on the SLR route.

On to the outfit, I fell head over heels in love with this bow back body suit from Topshop the other week so ended up picking it up. Def ideal for a Valentines date night outfit as its sexy but super cute at the same time. It was pricey coming in at £25 but is really comfortable compared to other bodysuits I've owned and there's a ton of outfit possibilities that you can wear this with including mom jeans, shorts, maxi skirts.... the list goes on. So it will get loads of wear :)

Bow detailing looks like it will be a spring trend too so picking up cute bow jackets and jumpers won't go a-miss now as you'll be wearing these pretties in to SS17.

Lightning strikes twice

Abit of a Bowie tribute today with lots of lightning themed stuff n silver!

Lightning Slogan Plunge T-Shirt Dress // Pretty Little Thing
Lightning/Zig Zag Tights // Primark
Silver Ankle Boots // Primark

Sorry, not best pics I know,! Trying to do outfit posts in January dicing between daylight, weather and general free time is a mission so I took the only time I could grab, the morning after a party so apols for my shattered looking face!!

I've finally managed to find another low cut top sorta thing to wear with the harness bra I got back in September, these rock chic style T-shirt dresses are all over Pretty Little thing right now and they are just perfect for weekend wear. Particularly loving the spliced ones (half n half design t-shirts) though they are a little harder to find but they are really cool and interesting!.

I was thinking of teaming up with my thigh high boots but instead as I've listening to Bowie last couple of days I opted for my new fave lightning tights and silver boots as they also go with the t-shirt anyway! Haven't worn any interesting/patterned tights since I was about 18 and lived in comic strip ones so these patterned ones are a welcome update to my boring all black or nude tights my drawer has nowadays. Maybe will get the thigh highs out another time.

The Leopard Print Coat...

Leopard Print never goes out of fashion and this season it's gonna be everywhere...

Leopard Print Coat // Primark
Brocade Shift Dress // Topshop

Managed to get hold of one of the top items on my Primark A/W hitlist from the preview earlier this year, this is one of the two coats I was desperate to get!

Being leopard print its automatically scored huggggeee style points for this season as you may have noted animal prints have been everywhere.

The newest ones to fit the shelf's are also furry/faux fur so are are warm and perfect for the sudden snap of temperature we've had just as Novembers started!

This Primark one is such good value at just £25, looks almost identical to it's Topshop rival yet a snip of the price!

Snake Print Ballet Pumps & a Green Pini

First (of quite possibly a billion) Primarni outfits of this season, but when they are this cute though how could one resist?!
Green Jaquard Pini // Primark
Black Polo Neck Top // Primark
Snake Print Ballet Pumps // Primark

Admittedly I bought this dress again at the start of the month (sorrreeee) but I am only just getting round to wearing it now as I really wanted to wear it with my polo neck top that I couldn't find!

Its a really good one for workwear and Primark have loads of these beaut pinis in at the mo in different textures and colours, making it alot easier to transition in to a workwear A/W wardrobe without fearing its all boring plain jumpers and trousers.

I feel weird wearing dark colours now for winter but I really like how this pini brightens it up abit. I don't think aside from this I own anything else in green but I do love the colour!

Also to distract away from dark colours I've picked out my snake print ballet flats - a new workwear fave of mine! The ribbon ties are abit hidden over these reaaally dark thick tights but the snake print works well with the jaquard green I think, never be afraid to clash prints!
