Yeehaa!

Buckle Up! We are takin a ride on the wild side with some serious SkinnyDip & Nasty Gal love!

Rainbow Wild West Crop Tee // WildFox
Yeehaa Heart Shaped Bag // SkinnyDip London
Kickin Up Dust Leather Bolo Waistcoat  // Nasty Gal (now 70% off!)
Spur Western Ankle Boots // Missguided (similar here)
Black Western Fedora // Asos

Sorry for the grainy-ness in these pics! (no pun intended!) it was super sunny and loads of my pics ended up being shadowy in the face so I did some photoshop magic to make sure that I was sort of visable! I'm not really a fan of over doing the old PS but in this case it was needed!

I've been waiting to shoot this one for ages! I had this penciled in for when I was off work but due to train strikes couldn't get to the location I wanted to so thought well Berwick is as county as I'm gonna get otherwise so it was the next best thing - and this outfit is deserving of a fitting location!

As you know, I am a HUGE fan of all things SkinnyDip London and have quite a collection now of bags and phone cases all from there, this bag being my latest edition. It's from their SS16 range Intergalactic Cowgirl which is right up my street! I have at least 3-4 of the bags sitting pretty on top of my wish list at the moment. Think I need to head to Pintrest to find some kind of bag display idea thing so I have somewhere to hang them that I can then admire them all as well.

I also gotta mention the waistcoat! My first purchase from super amazin Nasty Gal who are based in LA. I got this waistcoat for just £27 as its in the sale at 70% off - some seriously good stuff in the sale at the mo. I am so looking forward to styling this one up as it can literally be layered over ANYTHING. This baby is gonna last me a looonnng time. :)

Don't forget to check out the Intergalactic Cowgirl collection now by SkinnyDip, what bag is your fave? :)

Berry Teal

Teal Bodycon High Neck Jumper Dress (worn underneath) // Primark
Maroon Diamante Trim Fedora // Primark
Furry Leopard Print T-Bar Shoes // Topshop (mega olllddd)

Sometimes the best outfits are ones that you just throw together and they just..work?

I hadn't thought of mixing this berry coloured suede skirt with teal at all but think they look great together and makes a change from playing it safe and opting for black!

Steering slightly away from the 70s vibe I've been living in recently I decided to also swap out my thigh highs and give them a break whilst I opted for a pair of very old top shop furry mary janes I've had for ages (that desp need reheeling!) Abit of a 60s/760s mash up! :)

Boohoo and Primark have got some amazing A/W ranges at the mo, with them both fully embracing the boho trend thats following into autumn.

I got this teal jumper dress which is perfect for work and for popping on as a top for skirts such as these. The berry fedora I got a couple of months back in the Oxford street Primark, I love the glam edging on it with the diamante! Would be a great going out in the eve hat too!

Boohoo has got some lovely pieces as well at the mo Unfortunately, I got this suede berry coloured skirt before my wedding and it seems to have now sold out in this colour but they do have brown ones.

I really wanted something with eyelets in as nothing I have has this feature so really like that this skirt has not only fringing but also eyelets as detail! My wish list from boohoo is full of their floaty smock dresses and fur gillets.. come on pay day!

Easily Suede..

Brown Wood Platform Sandals // Topshop (down to £20 in the sale!)
Brown Feather Fedora // Select

Suede is gonna be huge this autumn as the 70s trend continues!

Suede dresses have been popping up everywhere as well in Missguided & Motel rocking cute brown mini dresses but although I like them I kinda wanted something that wasn't brown as most of the 70s stuff around is all brown at the moment! They are also all pretty expensive and I'm on a budget at the moment with a wedding just around the corner! So I went on to Ebay hoping I could grab a bargain and find something a little different and Ebay didn't disappoint!

These cute suede pinafore dresses are available from just £11 (depending on what colour you choose) and are in navy, rust, khaki and tan. a great alternative for those looking for different coloured suede rather than be dressed head to toe in brown for the whole season!

Anyhoo, I better get back to spending the eve watching Spongebob and trying to make rainbow meringues (wedding munch!) will let you know how it goes!

Andalasia

Brown Suede Cut-Out Boots // New Look

Absolutely love this romantic bustier dress! Its very princessy and for me it reminds me a little of the dress Princess Gisele makes in Disney's Enchanted film when she makes the floral dress from the curtains!

I have had this dress waiting for months but decided that today now being nearly the end of May it was time to wear it although its still not really quite that warm yet. :) Off shoulder dresses & tops have been everywhere this Spring and is one of my fave styles to wear.

So I layered on my suede tassel jacket and have given it abit of a Prarie girl/wild west look with some feathers n turquoise beads in my hair too. I have definitely re-discovered my love of turquoise accessories - I love how they can brighten up a look by adding pops of colour. You'll have to excuse the shoddy painting of my nails though, I am no artist and I put this nail varnish on last minute to match the ring and beads! have no patience when it comes to nails!

Fringed Suede Jacket & Flares

Brown Faux Leather Buckle Bralet // Topshop (olldd)
Feather Festival Headband // Urban Outfitters (ollld)

After seeing all the Coachella pics on Instagram I'm definitely craving everything and all things festival themed right now! Fringe & tassels everywhereeee :)

I finally got to wear my leather bralet today which I bought in a Topshop sale a few years ago. It still fits...sort of! def not when I'm sporting a post pub lunch sausage sarnie belly haha!, am sure the buckles on the top are adjustable..I'll make it fit!!

These flares are super comfy though even if they are still a wee bit too long or I need higher heels. My Rokoko ones I had on a few weeks ago are low waisted and not as cosy as these, prob should of got a size up. These are from Missguideds festival collection - which if u haven't already checked it out please do n have ur card ready...ul want everything!!

Boohoo's not got a festival range as such but there are still fringe and suede stuff aplenty over there. I totally fell in love with this jacket which came in three colours, black, brown and wine. I spent ages debating which colour to get and went with the brown as it would go with more things but am now wishing I bought the wine one as well but both colours have now sold out! :(  Nothing haunts u like the things you don't buy.

Thigh High Boots & Chunky Sweater Dress

Thigh High Boots // Sole Affair
Charcoal Knit Jumper Dress // Missguided
Black Pinstripe Trilby // Market stall in Hastings several years ago!

Abit late to be jumping in on this trend but ah well, better late then never! These were really hard to get hold of, despite so many versions being available from Schuh, Asos & Missguided they have been sold out everywhere! I eventually managed to track this pair down on Sole Affair who have these in either black or grey.

They are the most perfect boot for this season as they are super soft suede and despite the high heel are also super comfy to walk around on a Brighton Churchill Square and Lanes shopping spree (tried and tested!) for several hours. They also are perfect for dressing up a slouchy jumper and making it instantly look chic wheras usually with leather thigh-highs its pretty difficult to not make them look slutty, these suede chunky ones ones look amazing with baggy jumperness, capes and cosy knits, hurrah!

Burberry-esk Cape & Birmingham Christmas Market

     Colour Block Cape // SheLikes
Black Polo Neck Top // Primark
Black Suede Fringed Shorts // Primark
Studded Boots // Pretty Little Thing
Thigh High Socks // Forever 21
     Wide Brim Fedora // Asos

Hotel - Hampton Hilton Birmingham North

I'm back from Birmingham after a super busy long weekend! I went to the Clothes Show on the Saturday as you saw in my last post and the day before I went Christmas shopping around the Bull Ring and the Christmas Markets and had a lovely Bratwurst for Brekkie (yeh i took a bite out of the end before takin the pic- not good at the takin pics of food malarky!!) lol

Capes seem to be everywhere this A/W and I really wanted to give them a go after seeing them on the Burberry Catwalk on Cara D and love how many different ways you can wear them. I found this lookey likey Burberry colour block one on SheLikes.com.. Its super snuggley and can be worn just draped over shoulders or belted as I have done here. Think I will also add my initials on there if I can find some iron on patches or something just to give it even more of a Cara D Burberry feel :)
