Drop Dead

Krustymania with x2 Simpsons colabs in one post! Featuring Drop Dead & SkinnyDip

Krusty Tie Dye Boxy Tee // Drop Dead
"I can always be myself around you" Flatforms (customised with pink fluff!)  // Choies
Krusty Shake Phone Case // Skinny Dip x The Simpsons
Lilac Satchel (customised with New Look Stickers!) // River Island
Pink Fluff Keychain // Molly Trubody

It has been such gorgeous weekend! It feels fantastic to actually be able to go out and shoot in the daylight and that it is sunny enough to not wear a jacket. FREEEEEEDOMMMMM! (loool British problems!!)

It made sense to also have a good hair day as well so I went and booked a long over due condition treatment for my tresses before shooting these. I am trying to get in the habit of doing these every 6 weeks to keep my long hair & bleached hair in top condition, for £15 its def worth it! :) I then shot these out in the yard..haven't been out here in a while as the flammin scaffolding is still up and blocking out sky dish (to US readers that's our cable connection stuff!) so we can't get signal! boooo. That's why its even more grotty out there then usual but gotta make do for now!

On to the outfit though, I managed to finally get one of these Drop Dead Krusty tees from their Itchy & Scratchy collection! yay! :D Its not a new collection by any means but I have been scouting Ebay to try and get one and found this one in mint condition so got it for myself as an Easter present! :) It teams up with my Skinny Dip Case perfectly.

I do love a boxy tee as well, perfect for chilled weekends and they go great with slouchy boyf jeans like these fab metallic moto ones. I shot these as well last year but it was dark so you can now finally sorta see them in their iridescent shiny glory! :)

Jeans of Dreams..

Black Sheer Glitter Tee // Primark
Black Starry Head Turban // Old - similar here

Finally back with an outfit post in what feels like forever! It's been about a month since my last outfit post outside with this being my first wintery one though it still really doesn't feel like winter still, it's an unfestive feeling 16 degrees today!!

Since my last post about my Glamorous petite jeans, I also bought these amazing iridescent metallic petite boyfriend jeans from Topshop - personally my faves when it comes to petite ranges! They are great for the festive season and for me a well overdue upgrade to my old Topshop Hayden jeans that were so ripped and worn in they were passed the distressed look by a mile! These look like they have have now sold out online in petite but are still about in stores and in various other sizes.

These are also "Hayden" jeans and are my fave fit - boyfriend style though are also cropped - perfect for showing off party shoes. These metallic jeans are a great alternative for party wear this season as they are easily dressed up and down and just look effortlessly cool, particularly as they also are abit iridescent so they can change colour a little in different lights.

Love. Sarah x

PS. sorry about the blurry photos, my camera went all trippy n most of the best shots were too blurry to salvage :( stupid thing!

Starry Eyed

Star print top // H&M (Rome)
Silver Sneakers // New Look
Gold Hair Clickers // Regal Rose

As I'm still poorly I took to taking some snap indoors the other evening! The lighting in my flat is terrible so I thought I jazz it up abit with these pretty star backgrounds and had a play on photoshop! I'm not a serial photoshooper by any means as I only really use it for cropping or trying to lighten up darker images so I watched a few tutorials on YouTube and had a play! Still go a way to go I think as these abit abit meh but oh well!! :)

I've also been trying out a few petite sections for a few brands - with varying suceess! Most I still find don't tackle length issue, which is odd as I thought that would be a pretty vital point of a petite range. I've also found an issue with the waist size, particularly on these boyfriend jeans - am gonna exchange them for a size 10 as they are way to small for me, can't even do them up and I feel if I bend down it feels like they are gonna rip apart on my thighs!! (note to retailers - if your gonna make a petite range don't just assume all petite girls are also 6 ft and and have no curves, cus we do!!)

With Asos I've found that petite range means it fits lovely but is still a foot too long in anything and with these lovely starry jeans from Glamourous they simply won't do up! :(  Perhaps I need to get in to the habit of ordering two sizes up when ordering petite garms!

Topshop petite is my fave I have discovered so far with a good fit so far all round! :) Have you found any  fashion shops that do a good range when it comes to sizing, or also share the woes of struggling with clothing sizes? Let me know!

I'll get the exchange sorted on these jeans and then reshoot these in the new year methinks,  I don't wanna let them go as I love boyf jeans and anything with a distressed look! hopefully the 10s will fit!,

Did you also spot my amazing lil hair bead clickers from Regal Rose, got these a while ago and adore them, so many cool n cute styles with braids you can do with these! .

Just a Girl

Green Knitted Stripe Tee // Topshop (Sold Out)
Hayden Ripped Boyfriend Jeans // Topshop
Silver Sneakers // New Look
Elephant Necklace // Claires
Blue Bindi // Brighton Lanes

I was channelling my inner Gwen the other day. My ultimate style icon.

I dug out my collection of bindis I have found in various shops over the years and teamed it up with this knit stripe tee from TopShop for a little bit of 90s girlness. I actually shot this before hearing the news about Gwen and Gavin Rosdale. What the hell? Thought they were one of these couples that was gonna be forever :( and then Kermit and Miss Piggy on the same day!! Sad times!

Back on to the stripy tee though, its def one of my fave newbie items in my wardrobe and seems to be alot of others as well thinking this too as this has totally sold out too! Please make more Topshop and in different colours! A girl can never own too many stripy tees, like Gwen's super cool No Doubt looks they just never go out of style.

Hey Arnold!

Ripped Boyf Jeans // TopShop
Leather Snake Print Jacket // Pretty Little Thing
Iridescent Rainbow Visor // Primark

Def have got an obsession with American brands at the moment, instagram has shown me a whole new world of amazing clothingness from the US that I am totally in love with! bye bye monies, hello cool amazing USA clothes goodness! They just have such amazingly cool unique things that would do so well over here in the UK (hint hint @ Dolls Kill, Gypsy Warrior, Nasty Gal, O-Mighty, we need shops like this over here!)

After seeing O-mighty range of Hey Arnold stuff I knew I had to get something, Hey Arnold has to be my fave 90s tv cartoon of all! kids tv now is just not the same!

This crop top has Helga's Arnold love heart picture locket she always kept hidden away on it :) haha! love that crazy girl!

Also feel I need to give a mention to the Skinnydip drink cup bag.. have u seen there stuff lately?? - if not then get on it, its amazin!! - I had been wanting a food/milk carton style bag since first spotting them all over the Chanel Paris Fashion week show at the end of last year but not been able to get my hands on one. So when I saw this baby pop up on Skinnydip's site I was really excited as is firstly its glitter &&& it has unicorn tears written on it! <3 love at first site! :) will be wearing this all summer for sure!

Wierd

Wierd T-shirt // 8 Cubes of Sugar
Pink Neon Fishnets // Claires Accessories
Rainbow Choker // Student Vintage Fair
Hair by The Braid Bar - Now taking bookings in Selfridges from March 28 - April 19!

I took these pics few weeks ago when I went up to London to visit the Braid Bar n got ma hair did in a punky Tyra braid full of attitude!

To go with my braids I decided to rock a nostalgic teen phase I went through - tights under jeans! I used to buy loads of the Pamela Mann tights with USA flags on or leopard print and wear them under my jeans (back then ripped jeans were only fashionable if they were well worn in, massive flares, by Punkyfish and ripped and frayed unintentionally!!) My style icon as always been Gwen Stefani <3 throughout her No Doubt years, her Harajuku Lovers days and all grown up n hip hop like in The Sweet Escape.

We are very similar in the way that we both love fashion in the same way that we would try ANYTHING. We don't have a niche or stereotype to what I choose to wear. everyday I wake up and I like to dress as whoever I feel like this morning. Sometimes I feel like dressing in all black & leather and going vampy, othertimes I'm craving to wear pink and tulle and be all cute and princessy..thats why I have so many clothes! :)

On to the Sandals tho!

How amaziiiiiinnnnnggg are they! I got them from US site, Dolls Kill and am so in love with them! <3 If you've been following my instagram you will see I bought these last month and have been finding cool things to put inside the heels.

At the moment they have a voodoo cat, a unicorn, a lego geisha, x2 daisy hairbands, a Hello Kitty hair clip, and a handful of skull shaped beads and neon coloured hearts! Have realised that putting stuff like this in them makes them super noisy though when you walk, they make a right racket! might swap all the stuff out for fake flowers n barbie heads for next time for abit less noise when I walk.. they were louder than all the London traffic!
