Country Girl

Boho 70's Print Shirt Dress // Primark
Western Look Wide Brim Fedora // Asos (sold out, similar here)
Black Cowgirl Embossed Ankle Boots // Primark

I'm pretty glad I work in the countryside, have always felt like a country girl at heart.

This reservoir is on the doorstep of where I work, which besides from here and endless fields to explore the only other things around are a general store and a pub. Only thing I wish there was is maybe a little Spar or mini Tescos so I can grab sushi on my lunch break, food options are pretty limited!

On to the outfit though, this is my fave purchase of the year so far - will prob go down as my fave ohmy - thatsfromprimark?? buys as well. Was £13! that includes the belt and underlay dress which is essential for a sheer shirt! not usually included though but in this case it was!

Considering I almost bought a MinkPink shirt dress a couple of weeks back for 5x times the price (not including the customs charge to get it from the US to the UK), this one stole my heart and also saved monies!

I've given it a slightly gothy boho twist with my Asos cowgirl fedora - very Undertaker! * and black stone feather choker. Again Asos. The boots though were a Primark sale find for £5 yay!

So fashion money saving tips lessons learnt here: firstly get a job in the countryside, it will save u loads of monies from making random lunchtime purchases when u are having a rough day. secondly, always try a cheaper alternative on Ebay/Primark/Charity Shop unless that item is a one of and sooo special u can't stop thinking about it and KNOW u won't find another one like it for cheaper in Primark or better!

Furreeyz

Maroon Furry Jacket // Primark
Biker Trousers // H&M
Black Vest Top // New Look
Studded Ankle Boots // Pretty Little Thing

Feeling alot of love for these furry jackets right now, spesh as its got really cold n snowy!

They had LOADS of these in the Primark Oxford Circus Store just before Christmas with amazing candy coloured ones and stripy ones!

As much as I love the candy coloured ones I don't feel like I can pull them off as they look a million times better on peoples with dyed hair like a lilac hue or pinks. Why o why is my hair so thin and lifeless??! would so love to have purple or pink hair, but mine will become too damaged if I dare bleach it as light as needs to be to achieve these shades! :'( *sigh*

Still, Primarni made up for it by making this pretty maroon coloured one <3 Its really thick so perfect for the freezy weather.  My current wardrobe theme seems to be to wear boring black at the mo, as you've prob noticed during my recent pics I have been wearing my leathers to death recently. Don't get me wrong I adore my leathers but could do with them in other colours so I don't feel like I'm wearing dark colours all the time. This furry jacket compliments the all-in-black look perfectly and adds abit of colour back in.

After Dark We Dance

Studded Ankle Boots // Pretty Little Thing
Black Leather Jacket // Pretty Little Thing
Pearl Necklace //  Vivienne Westwood

Definitely starting to feel alot more christmassy now, the Boots Christmas gift guide has become my cosmetics wish list whilst I circle everything I like inside, the John Lewis Ad with the cutest little penguin has now been released (I actually waited until I could go home and watch it in full without having to explain to my colleagues why I was crying lol!) and it now feels officially ok to wear sequins for both day and night without feeling OTT! I'm a big lover of glitter, jacquard and jewel colours but sadly they are only really appropriate for this time of year!

It was my mum and dads pearl anniversary this weekend so we headed up to London to see Mamma Mia in the Novello Theatre near Leicester Square.

I wanted to wear something special and decided on this amazing iridescent sequined number from Motel (the Gabby Dress) It is one of the most popular and quite possibly the most blogged about Motel Dress ever but I can totally see why. It suits anyone, the sequins hold on really well (You would have to maliciously damage this dress in order to lose any sequins) unlike most other sequined or embellished garments and the quality is top notch,  The material that holds the sequins quite thick which keeps you snug if you are out in the evening, and quite possibly the best best is that its iridescent so when you move in it the sequins got from a green to bluey colour .Its sooo sparkly!

I've seen alot of retailers make cheaper copies of this dress recently but they don't have any of these above features to them. The Motel Gabby dress is obvs more expensive at £59 but Motel very often do 20% discounts on full price items and tbh its worth it for the quality as well - I can see this been worn again and again for events in the future and due to its quality will still feel new and special.

PS. Sorry for the crappy picture quality, had to take these pretty quick and inside in low light as it was busy in the theatre & Starbucks!
