Starry Eyed

Star print top // H&M (Rome)
Silver Sneakers // New Look
Gold Hair Clickers // Regal Rose

As I'm still poorly I took to taking some snap indoors the other evening! The lighting in my flat is terrible so I thought I jazz it up abit with these pretty star backgrounds and had a play on photoshop! I'm not a serial photoshooper by any means as I only really use it for cropping or trying to lighten up darker images so I watched a few tutorials on YouTube and had a play! Still go a way to go I think as these abit abit meh but oh well!! :)

I've also been trying out a few petite sections for a few brands - with varying suceess! Most I still find don't tackle length issue, which is odd as I thought that would be a pretty vital point of a petite range. I've also found an issue with the waist size, particularly on these boyfriend jeans - am gonna exchange them for a size 10 as they are way to small for me, can't even do them up and I feel if I bend down it feels like they are gonna rip apart on my thighs!! (note to retailers - if your gonna make a petite range don't just assume all petite girls are also 6 ft and and have no curves, cus we do!!)

With Asos I've found that petite range means it fits lovely but is still a foot too long in anything and with these lovely starry jeans from Glamourous they simply won't do up! :(  Perhaps I need to get in to the habit of ordering two sizes up when ordering petite garms!

Topshop petite is my fave I have discovered so far with a good fit so far all round! :) Have you found any  fashion shops that do a good range when it comes to sizing, or also share the woes of struggling with clothing sizes? Let me know!

I'll get the exchange sorted on these jeans and then reshoot these in the new year methinks,  I don't wanna let them go as I love boyf jeans and anything with a distressed look! hopefully the 10s will fit!,

Did you also spot my amazing lil hair bead clickers from Regal Rose, got these a while ago and adore them, so many cool n cute styles with braids you can do with these! .

Oh Hey New Layout!

Virginia Baroque Corset Choker // Poison Ivy Collection @ Regal Rose

After almost two years on the blogging scene, I finally decided to give Sarah In Wonderlust a makeover!

I first started my blog after leaving a crappy job and needed something to take my mind off life stuff and to throw myself in to something, I had no idea that just shy of two years later I'd still be keeping it up.  I have come to realise that  how much I love writing and reviewing, photographing and editing and this blog is my true passion and really keeps me motivated.   It was well deserved a refresh!.

I have so many new plans to take this blog further in the next year or so and come up with more creative content, perhaps expanding from travel and fashion. If there is anything you would like to see on Sarah in Wonderlust please let me know in the comments below!

Shout out to the amazing guys at Pipdig for the layout and help with setting up! If you are looking for a new blog layout then be sure to look up these guys!.

Love, Sarah x

Babylon

Henna (Transfer Set) // Regal Rose
Studded Ankle Boots // Pretty Little Thing

Sorry about the crappy pic quality! I just saw this amazing magical ivy door way whilst out and about and had to come back n shoot here...in hindsight tho the lighting was pretty poor, but heyho!

Have had this Misguided Tie-Dye dress on my wish list for ages - so pleased I finally got it. I'm obsessing over all things tie-dye at the mo!

I recently ordered a load of Regal Rose goodies as well as they are fast becoming my fave accessory destination. Their latest collection - Babylon - is just incredible and full of boho style goodness!

This time I went back for the lovely henna transfers which are brilliant and stay on really well - everyone has complimented this one I have on and had no idea it was a transfer as it looks just like real henna..result!

I also got this amazing crescent headband which is really unique and some more hair braid rings for my growing collection :)

The coin belt though is actually Boohoo - yes Boohoo!! Its pretty heavy and noisy but its by far the best coin belt I have ever seen, my only moan is that I wish it was gold instead of silver but its such a stunning statement piece I'll let Boohoo off this one!

Make sure you check out Regal Rose's Babylon Collection here

Boho Jewellery Haul

The last month or so I have been updating my jewellery collection as some pieces I have are really old, haven't bought anything new or felt inspired to buy any new jewellery for ages!

I'll admit now I'm not a fan of expensive bling, I do own a Vivienne Westwood pearl choker that I bought for my 25th Birthday in Paris but everything else I have is costume jewellery. I'd much rather have a stack of £5 colourful bangles on my arm instead of a Pandora bracelet! just find them really plain lol! This is prob why I love boho jewellery so much, the more you can stack on the better instead of one single item of jewellery!

I've put together some of my latest buys ranging from the super cheap chic (hello Primarni & Ebay!) sorta cheap range - Claire s Accessories & Asos & a couple of pretties from Urban Outfitters and Regal Rose for those of you looking you spend a little bit more!

Super Cheap Chic - Primark & Ebay

Primark has some superb picks for jewellery and accessories right now, I found myself going a little crazy in there last weekend and before I knew it went to the till with an armful of stuff!

Here's what I got!

Coin headband, triple ring set, leaf full finger ring, glow in the dark charm bands
Coin Headband £2.50

Ring set £3.00

Leaf branch full finger ring £3.00
Midi ring multi pack £3.00

charm glow in the dark bangles £2.50
Gold Septum Ring - Ebay £3.95

Midi Cheap Range

First up is the feather choker I wore a couple of outfit posts ago from Asos. The rest are from Claire's Accessories which has some GORGEOUS boho lovelies right now. From arm cuffs, headbands and flower crowns, Claire's has got summer accessories nailed!

Asos black stone feather choker £8
Claire's elephant necklace £8.00

Feather and bead arm band - £6 (i think...)
Gold coin 3 size bangle set £4.50
x3 Butterfly hair clips (sold separately) £3.50 Gold Greek Branch Headband £8 Nail Stickers £4
Gold Greek Style Headband (as seen in Cosmopolitan) £8
Nail Stickers £4
Large Flower Crown £14
Large Flower Crown £14
Beachey Charm Choker £6
Katy Perry Prism Pink & Green Gem Choker £4
Katy Perry Prism Junk Food Charm Bracelet £5

Pretty but pricier..

My new obsession at the moment is hair rings which you may have seen my wear in my last post. Regal Rose have some really cool charms as well as other amazing jewellery on their site, though alot of its over £10 obvs depends how much you want to spend. The hair rings are £2.50 each but you wil want at least 5 of them as when you hook them on to braids you will need at least this many or more if your hair is longer than mine.

Also I really like Urban Outfitter accessories, they always have really interesting stuff though I don't go in to my local Brighton sotre that often. have made a mental note to go there more as they have super pretty thing like the crystal necklaces below.

Regal Rose Hair Rings £2.50 each

Urban Outfitters Rainbow Prite £12 and Crystal £9

You Are The Constellations

Gold Saturn Hair Rings // Regal Rose
Black Leather Jacket // Pretty Little Thing
Platform Chunky Suede Thigh High Boots // Sole Affair

Messy plaits & floaty sheer shirt vibes..

Still trying, and failing, to create a braided look so went for this messy undone plait (which came even more undone in the wind!) for the weekend and some amazing gold Saturn hair rings from Regal Rose to accessorise. <3 love them! will def go back and get the sun and the feather ones.

These also go perfect with my starry new blouse from Oh My Love, saw this very Valentino-esk print blouse on their website and knew it had to be mine straight away! unlike my other pussybow blouse which is more shirtlike and waitressy, this one has abit of a more floaty feel, with pretty sleeves and can be worn as a dress or tucked in shorts - two outfits for the price of one!

The platform thigh highs have also made a comeback too! though never quite banished away till the autumn (you can never trust the pesky British weather!) I was missing them alot and thought as the weather had decided to go all windy and rainy again last week when it was so full of promise the week before they could come back out again!

How are you dressing for the transeasonal weather? :)

Love, Sarah x
