Pretty In Pink..

Pink Cleated Sandals // Ebay

Back to shooting on the street again, yay! feels like its been an age since I've gone out and about and done a shoot without staying close to my flat or work.

I really wanted to get a shot with a blossom tree to go with this pretty pink tile print playsuit from Missguided but kept finding ones that had either been abit windswept or finding a really nice one only for the owner of the house to turn up at the very moment wondering what I'm doing lol! so thats why is no consistent shots of a particular tree, I had to keep walking around!

Think this is my first playsuit I've picked up so far this year, tbh, I wasnt sure about it when it came as it felt almost too pink and I wasnt sure it suited me but think I will keep it now to wear this summer as alot of my 70s style stuff I've bought has all been very brown and yellow which is darkening my wardrobe abit but brightening it up a little at the same time with all these crazy 70s patterns!

I really like the bell sleeved and the lacey plunge neck though as this ones far more of a loose fit that many of my other plunge neck stuff am gonna need abit more tit tape for when I next wear it out..had a couple of near boob escapage moments! lol!

90's Double Buns & Acid Brights

Crop Top - Drom Apparel http://www.dromapparel.co.uk/AlienAcid
Lime Jeggings - Select (bought in store but not on web yet! here's a link here to the lookbook anyway!) http://www.selectfashion.co.uk/lookbook
Baby Pink Cleated Sandals - Ebay
Bag - River Island
Necklace - Vivienne Westwood
Lips - Bourjois - Fushia Graffiti
Bindi's - Brighton Lanes

First thing you will probably note is I have my hair up - which is extremely rare!! lol! I am useless at putting my hair up in ponytails or plaits or bunches as they are constantly lopsided and my thin straight hair never wants to stay put so I have my hair down all the time!

I saw these trend appear a few weeks ago on one of my Lolita/Harajuku Fashion fan pages on facebook and loved it, and then went hunting for a youtube video (posted below) of how to do it and was mega pleased it was super easy and you can customise with bows and flowers and all sorts! result! :) I'll def be having my hair like this for the summer now, am kinda waiting for my purple dip dye to either fade or have the last couple of centimetres chopped (eeep!) as it barely shows now so I can start anew and think of something else to do to it after two years of changing dip dye colours!

On to the outfit, I'm really impressed with Select's range for Summer, with gorgeous lace co-ords, mint sheer tops, and gingham to choose from, its impossible not to want everything, The lookbook on the website is great! I've picked out these lime green jeggings as lime is one of my favourite colours and jeggings are so comfy. I needed a new pair since the teal ones I bought from Select a couple of years ago are looking abit tired now. The crop top is from Drom Apparel, check out there site for some interesting crazy prints!

The Boyfriend Jeans

Since leggings became cool again a few years back, I haven't really worn jeans too much to be honest, and being petite I have the age old problem of finding jeans that actually fit/are comfortable/are not so skinny-fitted that they cut off the blood supply to your legs

#smallgirlproblems

I was starting to give up hope that baggy grungy jeans that I used to love and live in as a teen would never make a come back..

however!

Meet the new boyfriend jeans that have stormed both online and high street retailers this spring! When boyfriend jeans were introduced a couple of years ago they were shapeless, way too long for anyone under 5"2 and with a mega low crotch that made it difficult to walk without looking chavvy!

After a 2014 revamp, they are now so much more wearable and comfortable, the long length issue problem solved as most styles have rolled up legs so they can be worn showing off heels or comfy converse! I picked these out from Topshop, as I really like the ripped/distressed look and I wanted a light colour for spring, I will wear these in future with kitten heels and a crop tee when the weather picks up a little bit more, but I've been in a cosy mood from stuffing myself at easter and visiting family so I thought I'd pick out my most comfy jumper from Wildfox also as its one of my faves!

Lazy day outfit complete!
