Preparing For New Adventures..

Don't say g'bye to colourful clothes cause the temperatures dropped! Grab a rainbow style knit :)

Flared Jeans // Glamorous
Mustard Yellow Pom Pom Beanie // Primark

Ok, so no big adventures for now, not till march when I'm off to Iceland anyway! yayy!! :) I know its a little early for me to be wishing this year away but I think I can speak for most when I say this years been one I'd rather forget!

Never been so excited by winter wear but as I'm going to one of my bucket list destinations I will be making sure my winter wear is lookin fly! I'm planning for my Reykjavik wardrobe to be practical and bright and colourful, as few dark colours as possible! :)

This Billabong knit is definitely one coming with me, Its super oversized as well so I can be super cosy and pull the sleeves down over my hands.

I'll be getting more Iceland wear up till I go so expect more blogs of cosy wear! lol!

Adventure-wise, I'm on a trip to Birmingham next Saturday for the Clothes Show! If any fellow bloggers are there gimme a shout! :) Can't wait to see whats in store this year :)

Ohhhhh yeahhhh!

Rainbow Tassels make for perfect A/W sweater magic for brighter days! yaaasss Ragged Priest!

Rainbow Tassel Knit Sweater // The Ragged Priest
Metallic Jeans // Topshop
Rainbow See Thru Platforms  // YRU

I've been waiting an agggee to wear this out! I actually got this amazing jumper from Topshop in Oxford Circus back in May but have held on to it as I've barely had to reach for a cover up over summer! Its been a beaut!

After the Ragged Priests incredible tassle leather jackets released in the spring (waaaaayy to far out of my price range even though they were to die for!) This jumper was a perfect release to make up for that and I bought it straight away.  Oddly have never seen it on the website so not sure if its an exclusive or sold out but this wasn't at the SS16 press day I went to last year either so sadly no link to it I'm afraid.

As you know I love my tassels so this jumper is the perfect edition to my collection - and by far the most colourful and most Ultimate Warrior/Randy Savage-esk of all I own.

The UNIF Frost Dupe..

Nothing beats a good dupe or candy coloured houses! Would love to live in a little colourful house like this! :)

Here I have found a copy of the blogger fave the Frost sweater and made a DIY version of the Lazy Oaf x Ragged Priest Total Mess Jeans!

Blue Jeggings (customised) // Primark
Lilac Satchel // River Island
Pink Fluffy Keyring // Molly Trubody

The UNIF Frost sweater has been the blogger sweater this season, however, due to that it was constantly sold out and that it was pretty pricey I didn't get it. I went on a scout to find a dupe and found this pretty amazing dupe for just £15!

Sites such as SheIn & Choies have pretty good dupes of alot of brands and, (so long as you don't need the item quickly as they come from China), is a great way to get hold of fashionable lookalike garms for a fraction of the cost! Although I was sceptical at first, and as ever, you have gotta be careful when shopping online, I definitely recommend these two sites and everything I have bought has been really good quality and as described :)

I am totally obsessed with these Choies trainers too, they are incredibly comfortable and so eye catching. I tried to customise them with some pink fluff but they didn't exactly work as planed so am gonna try spray painting the fluff next until I find some actual pink fluffy fabric! :)

I also had a DIY moment with these Primark Jeans - Ragged Priest collaborated with Lazy Oaf not to long ago and made some amazing jeans with some pretty simple to copy marker pen writing on the knees, however at the price of £65 I thought I could easily copy this and make my own version for just £10 here. DIY writing with a fabric marker pen and made my own knee rips, easy peasy!

Have you got any good dupes websites that you can recommend or have any DIY ideas for any clothes you have seen lately? let me know! :)

Back to Black

A couple of my fave H&M buys, both old and new and of the black and tassely variety!

Black Leggings // H&M (old)
Black & Green Dip Dye Tassel Necklace // H&M (old)
Black Fedora// TK Maxx
Biker Boots // Boohoo (old)

Working in the city or industrial areas its pretty simple but to work in the countryside means wearing pretty shoes or pencil skirts is a no no - especially at this time of year, I have done a couple of other previous posts on my country themed workwear before (again with abit of a 70s vibe) :) However you cannot wear platforms to complete the look, you have to come prepared for working in the county as it means muddy boots become pretty much a regular thing

I tend to stick to comfy basics at work, my comfiest stretchy leggings (these are going on a couple of years old now and are holey!!) are a staple of mine and then I jazz it up with an interesting top.

As you know I'm not really a fan of all black erraythang and love my colours, however saw this fringed black knit in H&M last weekend in Brighton and thought it would make a good addition to my could-get-away-with-wearing-at-work attire - That and look at that fringe detail! - Can you believe this was only £6!

You can't really see in the photos but the fringe goes all up the sleeves and across the back to. The front bit with the green tassels is actually a necklace I also picked up n H&M again a good couple of years ago, but didn't find anything to wear with it all this time until now  - was worth the wait though!

Lovin Autumn..

Striped Knit Crop Top // Missguided
Black Fedora // TK Maxx
Black Thigh High Platforms // Sole Affair

Starting to get in to the swing of all things autumn now, Trying my hardest to find a Halloween outfit at last minute in time for next weekend, eating loads of butternut squash and pumpkin flavoured things and cosy evenings in. :) I still have a few summer things out that I'm wearing, sneaking them in before the cold really sets in!

This Missguided co-ord was something I bought a roundabout a month ago, I love the rust and mustard yellow stripes and the lovely gold glitter in between! Real autumnal colours.

What are your're favourite things about autumn? :)

Easily Suede..

Brown Wood Platform Sandals // Topshop (down to £20 in the sale!)
Brown Feather Fedora // Select

Suede is gonna be huge this autumn as the 70s trend continues!

Suede dresses have been popping up everywhere as well in Missguided & Motel rocking cute brown mini dresses but although I like them I kinda wanted something that wasn't brown as most of the 70s stuff around is all brown at the moment! They are also all pretty expensive and I'm on a budget at the moment with a wedding just around the corner! So I went on to Ebay hoping I could grab a bargain and find something a little different and Ebay didn't disappoint!

These cute suede pinafore dresses are available from just £11 (depending on what colour you choose) and are in navy, rust, khaki and tan. a great alternative for those looking for different coloured suede rather than be dressed head to toe in brown for the whole season!

Anyhoo, I better get back to spending the eve watching Spongebob and trying to make rainbow meringues (wedding munch!) will let you know how it goes!
