Having a pretty crazy week in Sarah world! all good though, managed to find a new job (yay!) that's out of travel marketing and back in to the world of retail where I'll be social media-ing, blogging and writing content! I have now just one more week left of the commute to Gatwick to do before having a couple of days to refresh and chill before I head down to a the library or Waterstones to pick up a couple of guides to HTML & CSS to help me start out on my new role (any advice on a good book that's not in computer robot speak would be appreciated :) )
My first payday buy was a new leather jacket for this spring as my trusty Jane Norman one I have had for a good 5 years or more started to fall apart to the point where it looked terrible and distressed - but not in a good way! denim looks great distressed but leather..not so much.
I ADORE leather jackets and think that they are a must have in your wardrobe, and can take an outfit from day to night without having to buy something thats too long for the dress your wearing or the wrong material, leather just goes with everything, plus they are a staple to have for are morealess constant transeasonal weather.
I picked up this lovely from Pretty Little Thing (Boohoo.coms sister site), It doesn't really show in the pics but is covered in awesome snake print which I wasn't sure I was going to like after my last snake print buy just didn't suit me, but on leather, snake print it looks great!
Trying to find a pair of dungarees when your petite I've found is pretty hard, the leg length is always too long and the straps are always falling down and even when adjusted as small as they can go, you still look daft, my hunt for the perfect pair of denim dungarees will have to continue.
However I can wear these cute silk shorts style ones I found last weekend! I'm still obsessed with all things floral at the moment and love that these can be dressed up super girly with sandals or I can go grunge and mix them up with studs and leather, so come rain or shine, these will remain in my wardrobe for keeps. perfect! :)
Love, Sarah x
