Pretty Bows

Nail date night outfits with a simple bodysuit. This cute bow back one from Topshop is a new winter date night fave!
Pink Pleat Midi Skirt // Primark
Silver Metallic Boots // Primark
Floral Belt // Primark (Oxford Street exclusive!)

Feels like an age since I last did a proper outfit post since January went pretty much as pear shaped as possible, Donald Trump being a turd, ills, every weekend plan going wrong, grim weather, and to top it all of the arrival of some new horrendous neighbours next door who party daily till 7am...joy. Has been 2 weeks of 3 hour sleeps. Will be getting on to our landlord about that shortly after my intervention earlier didn't go to well. 😔

Keeping my sanity though my new camera has arrived eeeeppp!! I now am the proud owner of a cute little  Canon Powershot SX720. Despite not having cool lenses and stuff like my old Sony, the spec on this one is much higher and I managed to get £80 off the price after abit of eyelash fluttering in Jessops 😏 I wanted to get a more compact camera anyway as well as so this is perfect for now then perhaps in another year or so embarking back on the SLR route.

On to the outfit, I fell head over heels in love with this bow back body suit from Topshop the other week so ended up picking it up. Def ideal for a Valentines date night outfit as its sexy but super cute at the same time. It was pricey coming in at £25 but is really comfortable compared to other bodysuits I've owned and there's a ton of outfit possibilities that you can wear this with including mom jeans, shorts, maxi skirts.... the list goes on. So it will get loads of wear :)

Bow detailing looks like it will be a spring trend too so picking up cute bow jackets and jumpers won't go a-miss now as you'll be wearing these pretties in to SS17.

The Two Primark Day Dresses you NEED in your wardrobe...

Looking for day dresses for your summer work wardrobe? Primark's got you covered

Pink Floral off-Shoulder Floral Dress // Primark

Blue Floral Wrap Around Tea Dress // Primark
Bon Voyage Suitcase Bag // Accesorize

I am back in Primark for the SS16 range because, boy, its damn good!

I told myself at the start of the month I could treat myself to one new dress for the office but I couldn't resist buying both of these cute tea dresses though as they are such bargains!

Both wouldn't look out of place in either Oasis and Dorothy Perkin's but at a fraction of the price as they are both just £13 each.

I can't decide which I like best but love how floaty and feminine they feel. The pink off shoulder dress is so on trend with its off shoulder sleeves and lovely pink blush colour. The blue wrap round has a lovely ruffle style hem and fits like a glove unlike many other wrap round dresses I've tried in the past.

Both are gorgeous matched with a pair of nude or tan heels and then for weekend wear perhaps matching up with a cute clutch bag :)

 Thank you Primark! :)

Love, Sarah

La Dolce Vita

Red Lace Back Dress // Mela Loves London @ Debenhams
Fringed Bag // Primark

Having a look through my wedding/honeymoon outfits I noted I didn't really have a girly romantic dress - even the wedding dress is although boho isn't very prncessy as wedding dress cus I wanted freedom to dance and move about without being strapped in to this tight figure hugging dress or a marshmellow puff and spend all day worrying about if I still look perfect rather than letting my hair down and enjoying myself!. My wedding dress has a pair of indian beaded white shorts underneath so I can party! :) The day is gonna be a boho mix of unicorns, rainbows, whimsicalness and indian themes with plenty of bright colours! :)

However, I found this dress in the brands section in Debenhams and think my princessy girlyness for the honeymoon outfits has been restored! Its got a gorgeous lace back as well which is just what I was after - a romantic slightly gothic italian look for our week long getaway! :)

Andalasia

Brown Suede Cut-Out Boots // New Look

Absolutely love this romantic bustier dress! Its very princessy and for me it reminds me a little of the dress Princess Gisele makes in Disney's Enchanted film when she makes the floral dress from the curtains!

I have had this dress waiting for months but decided that today now being nearly the end of May it was time to wear it although its still not really quite that warm yet. :) Off shoulder dresses & tops have been everywhere this Spring and is one of my fave styles to wear.

So I layered on my suede tassel jacket and have given it abit of a Prarie girl/wild west look with some feathers n turquoise beads in my hair too. I have definitely re-discovered my love of turquoise accessories - I love how they can brighten up a look by adding pops of colour. You'll have to excuse the shoddy painting of my nails though, I am no artist and I put this nail varnish on last minute to match the ring and beads! have no patience when it comes to nails!
