Apres Ski

Another basic one (sorrryyy :( but this cute little top is def worth a mention for your layering wardrobe!

Slogan Long Sleeved Top // Marks & Spencer
Vinyl Trousers // Boohoo

Sorry to do yet another short n sweet basic post! I had sooo many ideas for what I wanted to do this season but got so wrapped up in work and been pretty broke! :(  Even on my trip to London last week (I'd booked a year and a half in advance lol) I only had £20 on me so majorly scrimped for the time I was there. I did have a pretty decent Greggs yums banquet though. I got a festive bake, pizza slice, cake and drink for under £5 :D Greggs came to my rescue!

I could of just waited till next week and got started on my winter and Christmas stuff then but I thought I'd show this cute long sleeved tee I picked up a couple of weeks back. Can you believe this is from M&S?

They have some really amazing stuff in there for A/W17 and and reasonable prices too! This was just £12 from the M&S Collection range and will look great will red lippy and curls for a slightly more toned down festive look then I will be doing as per usual this year! :)

Rainbow Vinyl

Following in the footsteps of Gucci's AW17 rainbow looks with this swoonworthy knit!

Rainbow Knit Jumper // Daisy Street (sold out!)
Tiger Print Bag // Current Mood

This jumper is a dream! I have been wanting something like this so long so when I saw it on Daisy Street a few weeks back I jumped on it. Unfortunately its taken me an age to pop it on the blog as I've gone and changed jobs..again! This time with my health and freetime in mind.

My new role is local and in a salon! It allows me to spend more time doing things I never have time for as I'm now working 4 days a week instead of 5. I'm also on my feet the full time I'm at work now so I should be healthier for that too (may not show till after Christmas probably!) so far am really enjoying it as its fast paced and all the customers think I'm cute :D

I did do a full 6 day week last week for my first one and with each day being just under 12 hours long I was shattered. Those three days off (sun, mon, tues) felt amazing and I got to go out in the lovely Autumness and make these cute pics in all the leaves!

The vinyl trousers are also a new addition. You most definitely want to size up of you get these as they are very unforgiving on the waist but they look awesome and are so worth it :) look forward to trying these with other outfit combinations later in the season.

#allgirls

Chatting about my fave online fashion campaign of the year and another fabulous charity shop find!

Teal Coat // John Rocha (Charity Shop)
Grey Suede Boots // Primark
Tiger Print Bag // Current Mood

Sorry for lack of posting again! My blogging has been truly terrible this year having missed all spring and pretty much half of my fave season, autumn.. Thankfully with my new time off scenario (more on that later) I had time to shoot a couple of outfits today.  Que lots of squeezing in wears of leather jackets, thigh boots with sheer tights and long sleeved T's till it really is too cold to wear them over the next few weeks!

The coat is my new fave, another Haywards Heath charity shop find. It looks totally unworn by its previous owner and cost just £7! :) Think it was a British Heart Foundation shop.
I LOVE the colour, it really brightens up my darker outfits. I am now committed to wearing more black as I am now working in a salon this is the uniform colour I have to wear. So I'll be def separating my wardrobe in to fun weekendy things and my black gothicky salon attire!

This cute little black Boohoo tea dress was actually bought with another occasion in mind which was our wedding anniversary earlier this month. I am obsessed with all things from Boohoo at the moment and particularly their #allgirls campaign which I think more brands need to start to do.

The campaign features girls of all shapes, sizes and colour which makes such a refreshing change of the usual models who are all exactly the same height, body type and more often then not have had some kind of surgery done here as well as a mountain of photo-shopping. Its not always a realistic to advertise clothes when using these models as it doesn't represent every girl out there. So here we have the #allgirls campaign which I'm loving. Its so nice to see realistic models!

It would be great if the high street also followed suit and had different mannequin shapes and sizes as well as ones with disabilities too. Hopefully one day in the not too distant future this will happen!

Hello Spring!

So ready for some Spring weather! Here's my take on the Gucci Spring style jacket!

PU Skirt // Primark
Yellow Knit Top (Worn underneath) // H&M

Recognise the jacket from my wish list last month? Yeah I got it!

Boohoo happened to have 20% off this Gucci-esk biker jacket beauty so I jumped at it as it was one of those timed deal things they often have on the website!

Regrets? 0

It literally has my two loves for any jacket - studs and embroidery but all in one, it is the perfect upgrade for my leather jacket I lost at my wedding (not the handpainted dinosaur one but a plain one) as this one can be worn out in the rain whereas with my painted one I have to be very careful with it.

I have recently noticed that jackets (spring and autumnal ones) seem to have a prominent part in my wardrobe as I have more than anything else, different materials, studded ones, painted, covered in patches.. love them!

Will definitely be making the most of these over the next couple of months of Spring! Come at me Springness with your sunshiney weather, lighter evenings and bank holidays!

Trend: The Embroidered Biker

Happy Sunday guys!

Hope you've had a good weekend, mines been pretty busy again. This time last year I was at London Fashion Week, this time round I've been doing loads of DIY (the boring bit where you move Crap round and clear out before you refurb!) and building up our bed as we have moved everything around so we are now in the smaller bedroom.

Treated ourselves to a cinema date on Saturday for Lego Batman in-between though :) Feeling much better with so much old clutter got rid of. 2017 for us is alot about letting go of things and moving on.

This also includes a big change to my hurrrr which is happening in early April eeepp. So very overdue so am nervously excited! :) and a wardrobe update (naturally!)

I am totally obsessed with the latest trend on Biker Jackets, First seen on Gucci's catwalk for SS16, these have been huuuge news lately and the Highstreet have frantically fought with who has the best version of this coveted jacket. There are so many good lookeylikey copies around! Would love one of these for Spring but we will see how my paycheck looks like after I've been on holiday!

I love my hand painted one but would love a studded one or one of these embroidered beauties. Boohoos studded floral jacket is just outstanding!

Get channelling Gucci SS16 catwalk vibes with one of these gorgeous jackets, here's my pick of the best!

Harness OOTD

Love this trend! Underwear is outerwear when Harness Bras are concerned..

Strappy Lace Harness Bra (worn under top) // Missguided
Black Faux Leather Trousers // H&M
Lips // Lip Lingerie by NYX Cosmetics in Embellishment

Sorry, another fuzzy picture post! My phone camera only seems to work best in sunshine :( Can't wait to get a new camera at some point soon. May be abit of a wait though as we have booked our next little venture away to one of our bucket list locations - Iceland! We'll be heading there in March next year :) excited ain't the word!

Speaking of exciting things, its also out anniversary weekend!! eeep! Not sure how its come round so quick but it has! We've been so so shattered with the start of Uni this week and being busy at work. Its been manic so I'm relieved we're just going something not to strenuous and going to Lewes, a small town about 20 mins away where we got married last October for walks, brunch and card swapping :)

This is one of my weekend ootd's, Its not really quite cold enough for leathers but I love wearing them with a cute top for going out in. This Boohoo plunge top was just £4 in the sale and comes in three other colours!

I added a little bit of extra material to it as felt it was just a tiney bit too plungey for day time wear, although I also wanted something plunge necked as a nod to my wedding dress design. It kinda also has ait of another sentimenal value to it though as I took the material from a dress that I wore out to an event with him years ago that I haven't since worn. But was a dress I had a great time out with him in and felt fabulous in so its nice to have that included on the top as an extra! Its exactly the same colour and type of material as well so it worked perfectly!

Its still totally perfect for wearing with this amazing harness bra which I got from Missguided's fantastic lingerie range.

I've been wanting a harness bra for ages as they look sooo good and add cute detailing to plunging sweaters or low cut necklines. This lace one is really comfortable and looks pretty sassy on, On the reviews on the site it also apparently looks and fits well on larger boobs too, not just for those of us in the itty bitty titty committee!

Britney Denim

Feelin abit Britney-esk in this strapless Boohoo denim number..

Western Spur Ankle Boots // Missguided
Black Western Fedora // Asos
Velvet Choker // DIY

Feel like this is almost abit of a throwback post - could this dress be more 00's if it tried?!

It reminds me of the famous Britney & Justin denim look only I've played it down and matched it up with some cowgirly accessories. Am loving this double buckle belt! I've seen a few around but this one comes in cheapest at £12 :) such a good statement accessory!

Think I may have to come back to Boohoo, I can't seem to stay away from their New In section at the moment yet a couple of years ago it was a place I'd never find anything I liked. My usual love for things Missguided has kinda dulled down this year to the point I actually received an email to say they miss me shopping and to come back! - something I never thought would happen to me as a Missguided fan from day one!

Anyone else finding their 2016 stuff has been pretty lacklustre? I feel its gone abit too Kardashian like! :(

Boohoo for me right now is where its at - so much festival goodness as well!

Check out their new in here

Velvet Lux

Draped Asymmetric Skirt // Boohoo

I tried velvet last year and have realised I have gone for very similar look here again only this time instead I have gone for an almost top-to-toe asymmetric ensemble!

Whether there are any rules of wearing two asymmetric pieces together, I'm not sure - I just picked these two out because I love the shine of the velvet and the draped skirt together - makes me feel more christmassy going for festive colours! :) Asymetrics always give a nice hour glass illusion  and are super flattering for everyone to wear.

This bodysuit from Missguided is a stunning velvet piece if you want to try something different that's velvety and shows abit of skin - just be sure if you do order it to order a size up - this is an 8 and its super tight on me as it is!

Velvet always makes me feel wintery and I think it is perfect for evening wear ...not for wearing on a farm as I found out later (blogger issues 198 - working full time & with it being winter taking any opportunity to shoot whenever possible..even if that means stripping off in the countyside and shooting whilst the suns out and daylight!!)

I got pretty muddy but these platform beauties from Boohoo somehow survived! One of my fave shoe purchases this year! I actually bought the silver glitter version of these as well, they are so comfy its unbelievable!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope you all have a fantastic day! :)

Berry Teal

Teal Bodycon High Neck Jumper Dress (worn underneath) // Primark
Maroon Diamante Trim Fedora // Primark
Furry Leopard Print T-Bar Shoes // Topshop (mega olllddd)

Sometimes the best outfits are ones that you just throw together and they just..work?

I hadn't thought of mixing this berry coloured suede skirt with teal at all but think they look great together and makes a change from playing it safe and opting for black!

Steering slightly away from the 70s vibe I've been living in recently I decided to also swap out my thigh highs and give them a break whilst I opted for a pair of very old top shop furry mary janes I've had for ages (that desp need reheeling!) Abit of a 60s/760s mash up! :)

Boohoo and Primark have got some amazing A/W ranges at the mo, with them both fully embracing the boho trend thats following into autumn.

I got this teal jumper dress which is perfect for work and for popping on as a top for skirts such as these. The berry fedora I got a couple of months back in the Oxford street Primark, I love the glam edging on it with the diamante! Would be a great going out in the eve hat too!

Boohoo has got some lovely pieces as well at the mo Unfortunately, I got this suede berry coloured skirt before my wedding and it seems to have now sold out in this colour but they do have brown ones.

I really wanted something with eyelets in as nothing I have has this feature so really like that this skirt has not only fringing but also eyelets as detail! My wish list from boohoo is full of their floaty smock dresses and fur gillets.. come on pay day!
