In My Field Of Paper Flowers

Pink Sheer Maxi Skirt - Primark
Cut-Out White Top - River Island (Charity Shop)
Chunky Black Studded Cut-Out Boots - Ebay
Rose Floral Hair Band - Primark
90's Black Choker - Ebay
Lips - Topshop Lips in Beguiled
Nails - Nails Inc. London 3D Glitter in Conaught Square

Back with abit of a boho vibe, this pink sheer maxi skirt from Primark's latest drop is perfect for our current transeasonal weather.

I usually tend to match girly skirts with leather or something biker chick however I'm nowhere near ready to go delving in to my wintery wardrobe just yet opted for something more romantic boho instead. I did keep my studded boots on though to toughen up the look abit and not get my feet wet. One of my work pals did say I looked very princessesy though regardless of the chunky boots :)

The top is something I've had for years, I bought it in a charity shop for a couple of quid and since then its been a staple piece in my wardrobe. Sometimes I've safety pinned patches on it, layered it on top of longer sleeved tops in the winter ..its really versatile! Sometimes I find the stuff I've found in charity shops are the best and most long-lasting of all my clothes. I definitely want to do a charity shop haul soon to see what treasures I can find. I haven't done any charity shop hunting in ages!

Have you ever bought any clothes from a charity shop that's become favourite piece in your wardrobe?

OOTD: Floral Chain Cami, Jeggings & Wicker Heeled Sandals

Green Floral Chain Camisole - Primark
Blue Jeggings - Primark
Green & Gold Gem Cuff - Primark
Wicker Heeled Brown Suede Sandals - New Look

Today, I've opted for a more casual look compared to my usual crazy stuff! I spent my lunchbreak scouting around for a new shoot place, I kinda had a street style shoot in my head for this one but when you work in a village where there is just one main road, you can't really shoot on the street unless you want to get run over by a tractor!

I went on abit of a crazy adventure instead and found a woodlandy walk behind the village hall and got these wicker sandals a little bit more than muddy...oops. Getting the mud out of them later should be an interesting task!

Everything but the sandals in this outfit is from my bank holiday Primark haul. I picked up the jeggings as I often find jeans just too uncomfortable to sit in all day so the leggings/jeans cross trousers such as these with an elasticky waist band are a hero buy I have for comfy days.

These chain camisole tops have been really popular in our Primark, and since the start of the season they have started to feature different coloured versions or patterned ones such as this floral number.

I figure this pattern won't be everyone's cup of tea as it does look very much like your nan's curtains from 1970 or something but I kinda like it! That and the green and gold from the chain detail just look gorgeous together.

Wasted Youth

Mickey Mouse Frayed Denim Hotpants - H&M - http://www.hm.com/gb/
Wasted Youth Crop Boxy Tee - Ebay
Spiked Hi-Tops - Ebay
Red Leopard Print Bow Hairband - H&M
Metallic Silver Sports Bag - Primark

Yus, that is a bath tub!

Bit of a drastic change of scenery instead of my recent posts of the lovely resevoir and the beach! This is our backyard behind the flat, full of crap and stuff the hotel next door no longer wants which gets chucked out the back for scrap. However, it does mean there are lots of random things out there to shoot with, and I kinda like this style of shoot with a gritty edge in high contrast filter specially when its a disney print item involved. Disney clothes to me were made to be designed for streetwear and I couldn't resist making these cheeky mickey mouse hotpants look street instead of cutesey!

I had been scouting all over the place for a pair of ripped/distressed shorts that I could wear on my holidays but kept finding every pair was miles to big for me or reeeeally expensive so when I spotted these in H&M it made my day. Disney print has been HUGE the last couple of years with models from Bobby Abley, Givenchy & D&G rocking disney character printed stuffs down the catwalk. These cute nostalgic prints show no sign of dying out yet!

H&M Divided is often a saviour for me, The prints are always really out there and unique and everything fits true to size. Everything is purse friendly as well, I often find better stuff in H&M for half the price of something fairly basic from TopShop. Just wish we had a H&M in Eastbourne!

Cherry Deer

Cherry Deer - SOLD OUT! Irregular Choice http://www.irregularchoice.com
Baby Blue PVC Mini Skirt - Missguided http://www.missguided.co.uk/nagsia-pvc-mini-skirt
Yellow Cardigan - Krisp http://www.krisp.co.uk/
Yellow hairband - pack of 4 pastel plastic hairbands from Claires
Marshmellow bracelet - Ebay

I had promised myself that once I had my first work appraisal, I could treat myself to a pair of Irregular Choice shoes - and as you can see I did!

These babies are my ultimate dream shoe - baby blue, mega kitch and with bambi heels. Yes, you did read that right, BAMBI HEELS! eeeeeee! :D I did squeal quite abit whilst unboxing them!
There are two variations of these bambi heeled shoes, Cherry deer which are the ones I'm wearing or Angel Cakes, which are darker coloured and a court shoe instead of a mary jane. I prefer having a mary jane as I find anything slip on or pump style just falls off my feet.

I managed to nab the blue PVC skirt in Missguided's summer sale, having already own a skater version in baby pink, I went for the straight mini this time in baby blue to wear super high waisted to channel some major 60's vibes. The cute summery yellow cardi is from Krisp, its perfect for anything high waisted as its really clingy. All that's missing is a fab bouffant hair do to finish rocking a 60's look - another time perhaps, with something monochrome..? :)

Aphrodite Lady Seashell Bikini

Sequin Seashell Distressed Beach Jumper - Oasap http://www.oasap.com/destroyed-sequined-shell-sweater.html
Spiky Acid Wash Denim Shorts - Primark
Pearl Necklace - Vivienne Westwood
Blue 90's choker - Freedom @ Topshop

I spent lunchtime on the beach today <3 it was reaally quiet as it was the day after Airbourne and all the crowd had gone so it was pretty much deserted, so I got to sit down on the rocks n chill for abit. The tide was coming in pretty quick though so I had to work fast, my bag and tripod cover almost ended up going for a swim!

This jumper is from Oasap, an online store which I discovered recently which has some pretty cool things including this beach cover up which I'm completly in love with and havent stopped wearing since I got it in the post! It's actually a dupe of the Wildfox shell bra lost beach sweater which is £200, this Oasap one looks exactly the same but only costs £15!! Gotta love finding a good dupe.

I really like the whole distressed and lived in look, just got to be careful to make sure I don't snag this one anywhere as its pretty delicate. It has this really nice flattering 60's style bell sleeve and its so cosy and floaty!

The Primark yet-could-be-TopShop Silk Jumpsuit

Silk Jumpsuit - Primark
Sandals - Primark
Bag - Almond Blossom Van Gogh print bag - Bought from The Hermitage Museum Amsterdam
Nails - Nails Inc. London Crackle Polish in King's Cross

I was wondering around town after work when I spotted this AMAZING silk jumpsuit from Primark, yes Primark! It's one of their new pieces from the A/W collection which I was going to wait until September to wear but couldn't resist waiting till then. At only £13 its a total bargain, it looks and feels more like TopShop Boutique or Ted Baker.

This one is double-y amazing as it has three quarter sleeves, a collar and huge front pockets so it kinda gives its a effortless chic yet tomboy vibe - if that makes any sense!

The only annoying part about wearing playsuits and jumpsuits is that you do have get naked everytime you need a wee but I like them way too much to let it bother me enough to not wear them. This one is definitely the most comfiest one I have ever owned, kinda like wearing bedtime silk onesie for a day out :)

China Blue

 Cut-Out Maxi Dress - Missguided - http://www.missguided.co.uk/daffne-porcelain-print-cut-out-maxi-dress
Sunglasses - Accessorize

Finally, a location shoot! :)

This is Arlington Reservoir in East Sussex that I mentioned back in May/June. It's a stunning place with woodland, farm, and of course the reservoir itself to walk around, its a really pretty place. Unfortunately, as I only have the option of going at midday whilst its quiet, it does mean the suns baking hot and in your face everywhere you are, hence why I'm squinting! lol!

This maxi dress is my new favourite thing from Missguided, I love the flattering fit, cut-out sides and the porcelain print! I would love to get a floppy hat to go with it, guess I'll start looking around for one.

I'm tempted to pack it in my suitcase for holiday although alot of my holiday wardrobe consists of navy porcelain print! At least it means I'll only have to buy one set of matching eye shadows and shoes which saves on the weight of my case. I tend to take everything in my wardrobe when I travel - 5 pairs of shoes and 3 handbags as well as a daily outfit is the norm - I'll make it fit in!
